Men and Pulp Fiction.
Memoir-filled piece from Reason. It regards men in the fifties to eighties reading pulpy magazines that had basic evolutionary themes: man defeats great evil, damsels in distress must be saved, man finds himself, etc. Amazingly, these themes were always contained within the pages a single book. I never did read that stuff, but you could argue that my loving comic books and The Savage Sword of Conan was not much different.
