FDR is about to cost us $12 Billion!
Poll after poll, FDR is cited as one of the greatest American Presidents. I understand that he tried to lead the country through a difficult time, not to be trite, but that doesn’t make him great. The fact is, more of his social programs failed than succeeded, he opened the door for the growth of the federal government, and the only reason the Great Depression ended was because of WWII. (Thank you Axis Powers!)

cco by creating a quota system where the quotas can be traded and inherited. Now, with the anti-tobacco movement alive and well, and tobacco farmers not so well, the Federal Government is seeking to end the program in the form of a buyout. The good news is that American tobacco farmers will now have to compete on the free market. The bad news is that people who have never stepped foot onto a tobacco farm own some of the quotas and may reap a huge reward.
