If Matt Damon’s movie’s weren’t enough to dislike him, he’s given us another reason. Damon, and other self-rightous celeberties such as Ed Asner and Rob Reiner, are now making commericals for MoveOn.org, the infamous leftist well funded radical propaganda machine. Benny Boom, a leading hip-hop video director, produced the first ad which shows a white police officer trying to prevent young blacks from voting. No one on the left seems disturb by the accusation being levied. In Damon’s ad, while showing various working people — doctors, firefighters, auto factory workers and teachers — disappear as they do their jobs, Damon says, “Since George W. Bush has been in power, he has lost over 1 million jobs. That’s more than any president has lost since the Great Depression. George Bush — it’s his job, or yours.” Of course Damon fails to mention that 1. Bush inherited a poor economy from Clinton, 2) Sept. 11 resulted in job losses that have nothing to do with Bush, and 3) Job growth in up under Bush. But then again, it’s a little silly to expect the Democrats or some Hollywood talking head to tell us the truth.
