The Coolest Game On Ice
While the country laments the Ghetto Boyz and their subpar performance at the Olympics, another group of America’s finest is getting ready to take on the world’s best. I am of course talking about the World Cup of hockey, formally known as the Canada Cup. The U.S. Olympic basketball team may have been a bunch of selfish whiners, but the U.S. World Cup hockey team is just that – a team. In the tune up matches, the U.S. is 2-0, beating both Canada and Russia. There may not be an NHL season this year, but we can still enjoy the best sport ever. Can you hear the chant? USA! USA! USA!
