Here’s the latest from Pew Research. This is yet another poll showing a solid lead of about 8 points for President Bush. For all of the new attacks on Bush’s Iraqi policies, Kerry has not gained any ground . Why? Because even those people who aren’t happy with the way things are going do not trust Kerry to be able to do better. Barring some horrible gaffe by Bush in the next 5 weeks, I’m not sure what Kerry could do to turn things around.
