Military Recruiters on Campus

The NYTimes has this on an appealate court allowing Universities to kick the military off campus and not risk losing federal funds. Of course, few of these schools had the courage to be named, but we’ll skip past that. All these schools are perfectly happy to receive federal funds, including funds from the DoD, and all the government wants in exchange is to be able to recruit students. They aren’t dictating criteria in education, they just want recruits. Apparently that’s too much for these universities to handle (diversity? HA!).

I hope Congress takes note and simply stops giving federal tax dollars to these local and in most cases public schools (public as in not possessing First Amendment rights).
