Ickes backing Dean, snubbing Hillary?

Blogs Against Hillary has this on Ickes backing Dean for DNC head. I’m not so sure it’s a snub.

What’s the head of the DNC do? Raise money and be a general cheerleader. If he ran in the primaries again in 2008, with the Deaniacs in tow (and this time remembering the buyer’s remorse they got be going with someone “electable”), Dean could be in play against Hillary. If he’s head of the DNC, he’s out of the way.
