Robbins shooting the bird to Rock, or stopping play at the “‘Special’ Academy Awards”?

The AP says this is a picture of Tim Robbins flashing the bird to Chris Rock, who made a comment about Robbins’ politics.

I don’t know… to me, it looks more like a mentally challenged actor trying to call a “time out”– Bush must really be running up the score.
