The seeds of liberty and freedom seem to be spreading in the Middle East. The Iranian people seem to admire the west and our freedoms despite the oppressive Mullahs who continue to teach hate. And in Lebanon, the people are calling for an end to friendly ties with the terrorist supporting country of Syria.

Despite bans on public protests, the people of Lebanon want the 15,000 Syrian troops withdrawn and sent packing back to Damascus, while the United States government looks on with interest.

One thing of interest being observed by the U.S. is the close ties between Syria and Iran along with the Iranian sponsored Terrorist organization of Hezbollah which could be used by Syria as a tool to settle political scores against the United States, Israel, and Lebanon, possibly even trying to spark a new civil war in the country of Lebanon.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, despite the attempts of the liberals to stop it dead in its tracks. Freedom. Liberty. Both of which are desired by the people of the Middle East, especially women who are oppressed, tortured, and killed at will sometimes. Of all people in the world, I thought it would be Hillary Clinton leading the liberal path in a march to free oppressed women throughout the world. But alas, we discover, only if it serves their purpose in the world of politics. Once again lending only lip service to the cause of freedom and liberty.

The people of Iran still look favorably to the United States. The people of Lebanon want our help in seeing to the exodus of the Syrian Army and an end to their rein of terror over the Lebanese people. The Syrians have been using Lebanon merely as a launching pad for terror attacks against Israel and harboring the terrorists within Lebanon.

Political insiders in the Middle East fear that Syria may be using Hezbollah to interfere with the Peace process between Israel and the Palestinian people, which is something that is driving the radical Islamic clerics to near insanity right now. “Peace in Israel……How Dare they?” Quite obviously, peace is something that interferes with the agenda of the oppressive leaders of Arab nations that are still resisting democratic reform.

I believe the Left will continue to show their true colors when it comes to the Middle East. The left is not interested in Peace, Freedom or Liberty. Their interest lies in regaining their power in Washington.

I hope the seeds of liberty continue to be sowed upon the winds of freedom blowing through the Middle East!
