There’s a relatively new anti-free market blog that reports on Wal-Mart’s alledge wrong doings called, appropriately enough, Wal-Mart Watch.
The blog calls Wal-Mart an 800 lb gorilla seeking to become 1,000 lbs. In the process, Wal-Mart is responsible for the death of American manufacturing, the outsourcing of American jobs to China, and the destruction of independent stores which will ultimately lead to America’s submission to China.
What the blog doesn’t tell you is it is sponsored by the Service Employees Union. One could very easily argue that unions have led to the artificial inflation of wages, a decrease in American productivity, and the decreased quality of American goods.
Hmmm, is this the pot calling the kettle black?
