What the Hell Is Going On In Kansas?

The Kansas Board of Education has scheduled six days of courtroom-style hearings to begin on Thursday to debate the merits of teaching evolution. Didn’t this debate get settled, oh I don’t know, 80 years ago in Tennessee! Is the evidence of evolution not good enough? The Kansas Board of Ed. is a great example of why blind faith is a very, very bad thing.

The last time the Kansas Board of Ed. tried such tom foolery, all the members were voted out of office. It just goes to show that those who forget history are condemed to repeat it.

On the other hand, the Kansas legislature just removed the long standing ban on Sunday booze selling. Considering how stupid the KS Board of Ed and electorate seems to be, I don’t know if it’s such a wise choice to make booze more accessible.

What evidence? There is no evidence for evolution-it’s a discredited theory. Many scientists reject it. One does not have to be a creationist to reject evolution-it’s simply bad science, and time and evidence have not been good to the ‘theory’. I noticed that the people challenging evolution here are not trying to force any creationist theory alternative on anyone. So how is this a Christian conservative issue? The blind faith is by those with low intellectual horsepower buying into a theory that Darwin himself would dismiss (based on his own writings) and the lack of evidence to be produced since the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial. Assuming this case is being brought by CCs, since when do they have no right to bring challenges to court? Or, since when is ‘scientific thought’ no longer worthy of challenge? Or once the ‘justice system’ renders a ruling the case is closed? I don’t think so. If that were the case blacks would still be considered 3/5 human. It amazes me how so many people buy into the public school bs being sold as fact. Then again, marxists have their hands on the public schools and God is one of their enemies.

    Marxism-the opiate of the masses.
