With its strong and insistent “We want to filibuster all appellate judges who don’t agree with us†stance and its wailings of “The minority Party has its rights!†the Democrat Party appears to be saying that since a Republican majority was voted in by the electorate, the Democrats “get to have the judiciaryâ€ÂÂ. AARGH! This ‘thinking’ only occurs within a liberal and leftist mindset. It’s not only tragic for those of us who have to endure it, but is inherently dangerous to both voters and the Republic.
By way of some obscure reasoning method, contained only within the dark and barely-known recesses of the liberal/leftist mind, it is incumbent upon the majority political Party (but only if the majority Party is Republican) to give at least one branch of government to the minority political Party (AKA Democrat). Huh? When did this development raise its ugly head? Are Republicans supposed to assume the same insanities that the Democrats have been enjoying for too many years, now? Not by a long shot. Reid, Kennedy, Schumer, Pelosi, Kerry et al are certifiable nuts! If examples of liberals never growing up were not evident before, they certainly are now. Increasingly, nasty childish rage has become the platform and image of the modern Democrat Party. Unable to gain a majority of the voters’ confidence, like bullies in a school yard the Senate Democrats are stomping their feet and threatening to steal Republicans’ lunch money if they’re not allowed to keep their activist judiciary.; the same activist judiciary that has kept and continues to keep criminal liberal and leftist Democrat leaders out of jail. Note: Modern liberals and leftists, because of their own illicit behaviors and/or proclivities toward them, believe that everyone is guilty of some sort of crime. Their only consideration is who’s allowed to get away with them and who isn’t.
Currently, the only thing that stands between US citizens’ liberty and an activist judiciary determined to legislate every aspect of their lives, appears to be the Constitutional option. Filibustering judicial nominees, because they don’t agree with the leftist viewpoint, is not only unacceptable it’s unconstitutional. If you haven’t already emailed your Senators, do it today. Tell them that they will not be voted into office again, unless they take the 2004 vote (given to them by the American people) seriously.
