Carnival of Comedy is Up!
And this week is special—The Daily Cause has two, count ‘em, (2) entries.
Bill C submitted his “Wilbanks Indicted” picture of the Runaway Bride, which is great ‘cause I left a comment on it so I get some air time there as well as from my submittal: “The Blog Name Change” that I wrote to hail the arrival of the name change of our blog to the entire blogosphere… or at least the readers of the Carnival—both of them.

Immediately above Bill C’s “Wilbanks” entry is another Bill C entry called “The Galloway Lecture Series” at a blog called Brain Droppings. Could another blogger have the exact same name as our Bill C? I decided to launch an investigation into the matter.
The poorly photoshopped cartoons, albeit funny, were my first clue. Not quite sure what to make of them, I started looking for more posts by Bill C—if that was indeed his real name. Hmmm, the style, the cadence, something seemed vaguely familiar, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it—figuratively speaking of course.
Well, after spending way too much time scouring the archives I had to give up… for now at least. I’ll get to the truth eventually, and let you know the answer to this perplexing question.
In the mean time I’ll check out some more Carnival of Comedy entries, and if you like to laugh you’ll do likewise.
You DO like to laugh, don’t you?

You can end the investigation, Kojak. Yes it is me. “Poorly photoshopped”? I put a lot of time into those. You give it a shot. Getting heads lined up and angled just right is not easy. Just you try and find a photo with a man holding a dog that works as well as that photo. That alone took me 15 minutes.

So I am a CoC hog. I had two good entries and they made the cut. (Not that there is a cut as far as I can tell) I like to do this when I see a photo that goes with a story and, sometimes, I here a story so outrageous it demands to be ridiculed. The reason I do this is that the best way to win against feminists, liberals, et al. is by making fun of them. When you can get people to laugh at the left’s behavior it makes it easier to bring people over to your point of view. Humor is a tool in the culture war.

Anyway, thanks for the plug on the other site. Trust me, there are better photoshops. Creating a good ‘cartoon’ is a matter of putting a topical photo together with absurd statement. I’ll give you a challenge. You have one week until the next CoC. Let’s put your photoshopping skills to the test. (I would let Fire see it before you put it on the Daily Cause) I think you have the funny gene, so use it in another medium.

Here are some of the more popular photoshops I have done:

    Hey Bill,
I went for a cheap laugh with the “poorly” remark, sorry–I did call them funny though. I mean the worst cartoons are sometimes the funniest. Have you seen any of Frank J’s stick figure art at IMAO? I laugh my ass off at that and it’s possibly the worst I’ve seen.

I’ll think about the “photoshop challenge” but don’t hold your breath. I don’t even have a copy of photoshop. I could use my roomate’s, or just get him to do it, but that would be cheating.

Thanks for the links, I liked the “only food with moral authority” one the best—THAT’S funny.
