One More Thing…
One more thing I’m tired of is these celebtrity charity events where celebrities can dress up and show how charitable they are.
Sir Bob Geldorf is getting a new one together and leaving out the Spice Girls because they are not serious enough for the show.
Look, if your really serious about hunger, deprived children, the environment or whatever either send the cause you’re interested a check or get out and volunteer to work.
There are plenty of day-care centers that need volunteers and plenty of old people who would deeply appreciate a visit.
How about visiting people in the hospital or the veterans in the back wards of the VA hospitals who gave and then were forgotten?
No, you will not be on “Entertainment Tonight” but you will be doing something real for people who are in need instead of indulging your ego.
Lastly, my congratulations to the celebrities who do just that whether it’s in the sports’ or entertainment fields.
