Cindy Sheehan: Useful Idiot

No, I’m not going to pull my punches just because she is a grieving mother. Her son died over a year ago, in a battle he volunteered for, in a war he re-enlisted for at age 24. It was his decision and she should respect his choice.

She has already met with the President and afterwards had nothing but good things to say about the visit:

“I now know he’s sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he’s sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he’s a man of faith….That was the gift the president gave us, the gift of happiness, of being together.” — Cindy Sheehan, after her first meeting with George Bush

Now her story has shifted to better suit her new agenda of single handedly shaming our commander in chief, our troops, and our Nation:

Some say the media and the left-wing-anti-war-cult are using her as a Teflon coated warrior to further their peace effort—I call bullshit! She knows full well what she is doing, that being to undermine our efforts to bring democracy to the Middle East, and lasting peace to the free world. She and her keepers are using her status as a grieving mother to deflect any criticism of her anti-American, anti-Semitic diatribe. I can’t speak for her son Casey, but his actions prior to his death, at the hands of murderous terrorists, speak for themselves. I can only speculate that he is spinning in his grave as his mother gets her 15 minutes of fame.
