Liberalism dominates the campuses of our country, and controls the discussion, and conservatives are fed up with the intimidating, free speech crushing atmosphere.
Liberalism response to an investigation is “McCarthyism.”
Sure, that’s perfect. Don’t address the fact that these commies are not permitting free speech. Just call an open investigation into the truth every one knows, ‘a witch hunt.’ There are witch hunts a plenty against conservatives all the time on the campus and elsewhere. And besides, McCarthy was right. Just look at our schools. The perverts and revolutionaries are now fully in control — and they have become the very monopolists and censorists they pretend to oppose.
If free speech is what they really believe in, then let’s look into efforts to scrutinize the thought suppression they engage in every day, and if they are for affirmative action, then maybe it is time that the campus is required to let conservatives compete in the market place of ideas.
In the meantime, privitizing the education system, putting what is public under more local control, and doing away with federal money and controls are other reasonable reforms that offer hope.
