Happy Chrishannaquanzaa!

That was on the radio this week.

So let me wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

I was raised Catholic, and although my faith has sometimes been, let’s say tested, I rejoice in the celebration of the birth of the Prince of Peace. One of the reasons I don’t believe anymore is that pacifism is ideologies that just does not work in this world.

Would Jesus understand?

With throat slitting jihadists trying to convert the world to a new Caliph we have to stop and ask a very important question: What would Jesus do?

He’d kick some jihad-ass.

Anyhoo, in case you’ve noticed, blogging has been light. Next year will bring about some major changes, not the least of which is I’ll be marrying Southwest Gal. Yes, THE S.W. gal I wrote about:

[We met on a Southwest Flight about a year ago and have been shackin' up...

Oops, just proposed.]

Ring and all.

Yay!

But there’s more, so stay tuned sports fans ’cause it’s gonna get life-changing-weird for me… as if my life wasn’t crazy enough.

My late Dad had a saying that loosely translated from Hungarian went something like: “Life isn’t worth living if it isn’t chaos.” I guess it looses something in the translation, like rhyming, but you get the point.

Again, Merry Christmas, and remember it’s the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, and have the best of New Years.
