WEB OF TERROR:THE SAUDI/BRITISH CONNECTION

Some savvy Internet detective work by British freelance spy Glen Jenvey may help prove that London was the communications base for the 9/11 hijackers.

In an e-mail interview, Jenvey said focusing on London and the prolific number of terrorists who have been based there may provide an important indiction about why there were so many Saudi Arabians picked for the Sept. 11 2001 attacks on New York.

Jenvey said, “In one simple Internet search we can uncover a Saudi link to anti- Saudi Royal family factions and al-Qaeda’s operations in Europe, and show that London may have been the 9/11 hijackers communications base. It seems the Saudi Arabian royal family and the country’s government were being set up by al-Qaeda and anti- Saudi pressure groups.”

Jenvey said that some of his research focused on Saudi terror master Dr.Saad Al-Fagih (www.meib.org/articles/0311_saudii.htm) who ran the anti- Saudi Arabian Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia network, or MIRA (http://web.archive.org/web/20010417075740/www.miraserve.com/abouteng.htm) from London.

Realizing there is an intricate but still to be unraveled web that connects many of these Saudi dissident groups, Jenvey also looked at the activities of Omar Bakri Mohammed’s Al Muhajiroun, (now known as the Savior Sect), dubbed by many as one of the most extreme groups operating in Britain.

A 2003 BBC article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/3110115.stm) Read in part, “Al-Muhajiroun has been linked to the recent British suicide bombers in Israel, and has been behind calls to overthrow the UK government.”

Jenvey’s Internet detective work on Al Muhajiroun came up with some interesting information. He said using an Internet search engine to look for article on an old Al Muhajiroun number, 07956 600 569, produces a link to this page, www.mail-archive.com/msa_ec@listbot.com/msg01158.html.

The Oct. 13 2000 article on that site brings up an e-mailed news release reading in part, “The message for the U.S. Army, Embassies, Bases, and Planes is Clear. Get out of Muslim land or else. You are legitimate targets for Muslims worldwide.”

The news release, apparently authored by Anjem Choudary, continues, “The barbaric U.S. army who are occupying Muslim land with their forces such as in Saudi Arabia and Iraq and who are actively supporting the pirate state of Israel must leave Muslim land immediately or face more strikes like the bombing of the American warship in the Yemeni port of Aden yesterday. The Islamic verdict on the occupation of foreign forces on Muslim soil is clear, the perpetrators will be a legitimate target wherever they are in the world. This is the clear message which the Mujahideen wish to send to the murderer and liar Clinton and his co-conspirators including Blair and Barak.”

Additional information about Choudary, who visited the United States in 2000 at the invitation of Kamran Bokhari who ran the Muslim Student Association at Southwest Missouri State University, is available at www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/767 and www.sundayherald.com/41039

Researching the same telephone number that led Jenvey to Choudary also produced some information (www.citymuslim.com/event/BQDDE/picketing-outside-saudi.html) about an anti- Saudi demonstration outside the Saudi Arabian embassy.

Additional detective work led Jenvey to the London bank account of al-Fagih of MIRA, with apparent connections to CDLR.

According to the Middle East Intelligence Bulletin (www.meib.org/articles/0311_saudii.htm), “Saad al-Fagih was a professor of surgery at King Saud University until March 1994. He was jailed for his heavy involvement in the country’s reform movement. Upon his release from prison, he became director of the London office of … CDLR, then the leading Saudi opposition group. He left CDLR to form MIRA in 1996.”

Jenvey explained. “If you put the email address, marsad@marsad.fsnet.co.uk, from the flyer ‘Picketing Outside The Saudi Embassy,’ which also has the al-Muhajiroun telephone number on it, and do a Google search, it will bring up banking details.”

Jenvey said that while Fagih has commented al-Qaeda does not bank in the United States but this seems to prove otherwise.

“They use British Internet companies, telephones, post offices and our banks,” Jenvey said.

The bank account information Jenvey unearthed read (www.tajdeed.net/Apeal/support-us.html), “HSBC Bank Plc (Midland). Account Name: CDLR. (Sorting Code): 40-07-27. Account Number: 11214438.”

Jenvey said, “When will Whitehall, the seat of British government, stop turning a blind eye to the links from London to Sept. 11 attacks?. Thank God Abu Hamza’s in prison – where of course he’s planning more strikes on America and London! When will the British government wake up to the real dangers of Islamic terrorists being based here?”

Interestingly, radical clerics who support terrorism could face treason charges in Britain. But as the Militant Islam Monitor observed (www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/940), “The whole idea of prosecuting Omar Bakri for treason is impossible for the simple reason that Bakri is not a British citizen. As a non citizen Bakri does not meet any of the conditions or definitions of treason…”

The article continued, “Prosecution of treason cases are difficult and that that few lawyers and courts have experience with such cases. It also appears that treason charges could not be brought against anyone who is not a British citizen which makes it all the more puzzling as to why the UK government would consider this as a viable measure to take against radical Islamist anti West and UK incitement. The last treason conviction in the UK occurred in 1981 against a 17 year old who tried to shoot the Queen. The last execution for treason in Britain was that of Lord Haw Haw, aka William Joyce, who left the UK for Germany where he broadcast anti ally propaganda on behalf of the Nazis (www.irishreader.com/Features/Joyce.htm).
