Just think of the tragedies that the Kennedy family has had to endure via the sons of Joseph Kennedy: Joe, Jr was killed in WWII, Jack and Bobby were assassinated and Teddy just being Teddy.

I hate to be presumptuous, but why are you gushing over the tragedies of the Kennedy family? (This isn’t directed at you personally but at the whole obsession with Camelot)
Plenty of families have personal tragedies especially over decades. Many families lost brothers and sons to the war and they served as enlisted men, not as officers. Rock stars and celebrities often have tragic, short lived lives but at the same time, they were able to party it up and preferred this lifestyle. Do we feel sorry for them? Don’t forget the money: Other families go through hardships, such as for the 12 miners R.I.P. They couldn’t afford massive funerals at sea or perpetual bonfires dedicated to Camelot.
We were watching biography and they said that Jackie O was relieved to inherit a few million from Onassis when he passed away. It was implied by the story that the Kennedy family didn’t provide Jackie with an inheritance for her children. This is a family with billions of dollars in assets.

PK, I was not “gushing all over the Kennedys”. It was meant to be a sarcastic, ironic comment on Teddy Kennedy.
