Here’s the ultimate oxymoron for our times, a real doozy: the Islamic Thinkers Society. Wait a minute. Before you excoriate me for blind prejudice, Islamophobia and siding with the Zionist entity, listen to what this Queens-based organization did the other day outside the Israeli consulate in New York.
They pitched a rally whose theme was that they “will never accept the existence of Israel” and they chanted toweringly intellectual things like “The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real holocaust is on its way!”
Islamic Thinkers Society? I’ve seen more mental acumen being exercised at a cockfight. If this is what comes out of an Islamic Thinkers Society I’d hate to think what comes out of an Islamic hate group.
According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, the Islamic Thinkers Society is an offshoot of London’s Al-Muhajiroun, another organization of Islamic geniuses who celebrated the 9/11 attacks and referred to the 9/11 hijackers as “the Magnificent 19.”
Other keen-witted chants at the New York rally that will no doubt have MENSA beating down their doors with membership offers:
“Zionists, Zionists, you will pay! The wrath of Allah is on its way!”
“Israeli Zionists, what do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way!”
“Ho ho, hey hey! How many Jews can we kill today?” Sorry, I made that one up. I just wanted to see what it felt like to be an Islamic “thinker.” But the next one’s real:
“Israel won’t last long . . . Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel.”
If that last one is true, one has to wonder what Allah is waiting for. In fact, taking a larger view, if the Islamic Thinkers Society is comprised of such profound thinkers, then what is their explanation for why Allah has allowed the Islamic world to become the pathetic basket case that it is while the infidel West is rich and prosperous and excels in every area?
I’m thinking that the Islamic Thinkers Society couldn’t think its way out of a schoolyard sandbox, let alone the one that encompasses vast reaches of the Middle East. As for mushroom clouds, if one ever goes off over Israel, you can bet your sweet Quran that a sizable swath of Islamic territory — probably in Iran since its leaders are obsessed with wiping Israel off the map — will become a glow-in-the-dark wasteland shortly thereafter.
“Iranian ayatollahs, what do you say? The Zionist retaliatory strike is on its way!” Me again.
