WOW awsome piece by James Bowman,
I now understand why Murtha says, “Marines killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” Murtha is honor-numb. Don’t ask someone who is tone-deaf to sing the national anthem at a ball game. Don’t let someone who is color-blind pick out your clothes. Don’t expect someone like Murtha who is honor-numb to make statements about the troops that honor the troops. He thinks he is telling the truth about getting to the bottom of this investigaition and has no clue that, for everyone who still have honor he has just sent chills up our spines and made us wonder why he is spitting on the troops. Then the honor-numb press with their love for a feeding frenzy will have this story in every headline for the next who knows how many years, with another poll every day about Bush’s low poll numbers. Then the honor-numb Dems will use it as the reason Bush lost the Iraq war. It doesn’t really matter if the marines turn out to be guilty or not-guilty, as long as it dis-honors the military. And they wonder why we call them un-patriotic.
