Developers are already working on an improvement to high-definition television.

Ultra High-Definition Video is the brainchild of NHK Japan.

“This is actually 16 times the resolution of currently available, standard HDTV,” said Kojhi Mitani of NHK Japan. “Think of it as four times horizontally and four times vertically the amount of information.

Noooo! Westy how could you!

“This is still in an experimental stage. There’s only two Ultra High-Definition cameras in the world. But we’re envisioning, in 20 years, this will be in homes for broadcast use.”

Oops, nevermind. I have to wait 20 years for this? Makes the wait for Playstation 3 seem like nothing.
