Juan Queer Column

The world’s done gone crazy. Let’s just blow it all up and be done with it. Jeez.

Here’s a few examples….

Two Faces For The Price Of Juan
For those of you who’ve read my columns, you’ll know that black empowerment and liberation from what some call the “liberal plantation” has been a topic I’ve met head on for years now. I’ve shared with you some of the slings and arrows thrown this way because of some of the sentiments I’ve issued. Some have been very nasty and personal, but this is the bed I choose to sleep in.

With that, I hope you can understand why I’m rather (expletive deleted) pissed that someone like liberal pundit Juan Williams can see the light, write a book on this very subject, and it’s treated like some kind of (expletive deleted) revelation.

(By the way, I’m censoring myself because if not, this will not be fit to print.)

According to Newsmax’s Ronald Kessler, “Fox News contributor Williams comes out swinging against ‘phony’ black leaders and a black ‘culture of failure’ in his new book ‘Enough’. Williams gave NewsMax his first interview about the book, and he lashed out at leaders like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who create support by focusing on “victimhood.”

“That says to an individual, ‘You can’t help yourself, you can’t help your family, and therefore all you can do is wait for the government to do something for you. I think it is a message of weakness and ineffectual thinking that is absolutely crippling the poor and especially minorities in the United States.”

Let us not forget, Juan Williams was an advisor to Jesse Jackson during his presidential campaign. He was obviously a believer at one time. I guess he’s grown….

Can any of you imagine what Juan Williams would have called me if I had been sitting across from him a few short months ago and said what he’s writing now? He’d say I was blaming the victim, I was denying racism existed, and was out of touch with the plight of the black community. Depending on the venue, he might even call me an Uncle Tom or worse.

Yet, because it’s now good enough to put in a book and get paid by Crown publishing, he’s probably going to be called enlightened and maybe we should just listen to this refreshing new perspective.

“Cosby comes across as a real hero, and President Bush comes across as a good guy, because he is one of the people who is demanding accountability from the schools.”

However, Williams once said about the President, “Well, I think it’s true when (Gore) says that President Bush led us to believe that somehow Saddam Hussein might have had connections to Al Qaeda?”

He quotes black conservatives like Frederick Douglass, Crispus Attucks, Booker T. Washington, and concludes….

“That tradition has been abandoned by people who say, ‘What if we portray people as victims? If we have a larger pool of poor people, then we are eligible for a bigger government grant. (Black leaders) maintain their positions of power by mismanaging people. They say that the way we get power is by pretending to be so weak and impotent that we have to say, ‘It’s the result of what the government is doing, and we have to wait for the government to help us.’ I just think it’s criminal to tell people that kind of sad message.”

Williams then goes off on poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton….

“Because one company wants to get access to a cable system, for example, they have these people out there demonstrating as if this is a civil rights issue. They’re trying to embarrass (companies) by having people like Jackson and Sharpton pull up in limousines and lead these demonstrators. It is a total farce.”

Remember what was emailed here after I made that very point on CNN during the Jackson’s visit to New Orleans, post-Katrina? Williams wants people to think he’s making news here. Read on and see if the following bombshell isn’t familiar….

“That culture says that you are acting white if you’re a good student, that says that going to jail is just a right of passage, or that crime is acceptable in the black community. You know, you celebrate drug dealers and gangs, and you say, ‘That’s authentically black’ when you see criminal behavior. How self-defeating! What a negative image to take on to yourself, but even worse, to put on your children.”

Or this…?

“For too long, schools were not being held accountable. In part because the Democrats were in the pockets of the (teachers’) unions.”

Or this…?

“You know, for all the talk about a cabinet that looks like America under Clinton, Bush has a better record of diversity in his cabinet than Clinton did.”

Williams did say “Compassion is Clinton’s best card.”

“You have too many people who don’t understand that if you simply delay having children, don’t have children as teenagers, you put yourself in a position to have tremendous success. They should know to get married before having children. These are basic steps that almost guarantee that you will not live in poverty in this country. You never hear that message.”

“Enough of these phony leaders who focus on victimhood and victimization. Enough of this kind of dead-end talk about celebrating criminals and bad behavior. Let’s look at what works and how people can lift themselves up.”

You’re right I’m (expletive deleted) mad as hell about this.

People like Juan Williams has spent his career, hanging out with NPR liberals and saying what they wanted to hear so he could stay on their good side and get well paid.

Have we forgotten about THIS Juan Williams…?

“You just want war, war, war, and you want us in more war. You wanted us in Iraq. Now you want us in Iran. Now you want us to get into the Middle East. … You’re saying, why doesn’t the United States take this hard, unforgiving line? Well, the hard and unforgiving line has been, we don’t talk to anybody. We don’t talk to Hamas. We don’t talk to Hezbollah. We’re not going to talk to Iran. Where has it gotten us, Bill?”

  • To William Kristol on Fox News Sunday

Let us also not forget that while Williams was telling critics to back up off of Clarence Thomas, it may have been a CYA as several sexual harassment complaints had been filed against him by female staffers at the Washington Post. Fifty female employees met with Executive Editor Leonard Downie Jr. and objected to the paper’s refusal to go public with the allegations against Williams. A brief article on the allegations ran on Oct. 15, 1991.

Does anyone truly believe Juan Williams could have gotten a job at NPR saying what he’s writing now? I don’t believe so, yet people are going to read his book and consider him some kind of (expletive deleted) visionary.

Let’s move on before I bash in my (expletive deleted) computer….

In The Children
Massachusetts is a state full of different, evolving agendae. One of our state judges declared not allowing gays to be married was unconstitutional. Our state legislature recently refused to recoginize the hundreds of volunteers who gathered thousands of signatures to put the issue on a future ballot, because they wouldn’t want to have to face voters before this next election.

Despite that idiot Mitt Romney‘s vetoes, our state legislature changed Massachusetts General Laws and created a new and permanent “Commission for Gay and Lesbian Youth” (to be made up of gay activists) that’s independent from legislative or executive control. This, and other budget items slipped in as to avoid having to conduct a public hearing, will cost taxpayers here a minimum of $2,125,000 annually.

As usual, this stinks.

The Massachusetts Gay & Lesbian Political Caucus recently held a rub-it-in-our-face celebration fundraiser:

Time to Celebrate!

Sponsor & Attend MGLPC’s Annual Fundraiser: Thursday, July 27th.
Join us at the home of MGLPC patron Harry Collings in Boston’s Back Bay for our most important fundraising event of the year. Our special guest Speaker of the House Sal DiMasi will be attending to celebrate how far we have come in this struggle and to share his views on what lies ahead.

Come Celebrate our override Victories and Thank Sal for his outstanding leadership on lgbt issues.

Please consider sponsorship of $2500, $1000, $500, $250, or $150 to support MGLPC.

But like I always say, “Timing is everything.”

Sex-solicit sting nets lobbyist for gay group
Dave Wedge, Boston Herald
Saturday, July 29, 2006

William G. Conley, a lobbyist for the Massachusetts Gay & Lesbian Political Caucus, was arrested by UMass police after allegedly posting a message on the Internet bulletin board Craigslist.com offering work to a college student.

Conley, 59, allegedly replied in an e-mail to an undercover cop posing as a student that he was willing to pay $50-$150 for “oral relief,” according to a report in The Republican of Springfield.

Police arranged a meeting and arrested Conley on July 8. He was charged with paying for sexual conduct and was released after an arraignment in Eastern Hampshire District Court, the newspaper reported.

Also arrested in the sting was James Aspell, a clerk magistrate from Hartford.

State lobbying records show Conley was paid $31,560 this year by the Mass Gay & Lesbian Political Caucus. The group bills itself on its Web site “as the most experienced and respected lobbying operation on Beacon Hill working for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equal rights.”

Whoops.

Despite what I’ve written before, some of you out there will consider this some homophobic rant. I guess the difference is that there are some things I wouldn’t hand out to kids. Maybe that’s the difference between those of us that can make children and those who can’t.

But to make my case, please check out this “Little Black Book” (made available courtesy of MassResistance) that was handed out to middle school and high school students at a homosexual “tolerance” conference for kids at Brookline High School. Books like these will be made available to more and more kids in our commonwealth, paid for with our tax dollars, immune from any scruitiny, thanks to gutless, liberal legislators.

No gay person I know would advocate the distribution of the “Little Black Book” to any child, so we are talking about the extremists. Unfortunately, this kind of indoctrination has already reared its ugly head in a public school kindergarten.

Today, they have the last laugh. For now, our only recourse is to either spit or swallow.
