Scrub “The War On Terror”
Words count. As Confucius said, “The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right names”, which is why it is important that we terminate the phrase “The War On Terror” and replace it with the more accurate “The War on The Islamic-Fascists”.
This should not affend anyone, the capital sin of our times, although I’m sure that it will.
“Terror”, as several people have pointed out, is an abstraction; it descibes the tactics of the Islamic-fascists but does not name them.
We need to come out of denial.
They need to be named.
Islam is a deeply infected and dangerous culture, dangerous not only to Israel and us but to the world. If Muslims find this offensive, then let them stop cutting people’s heads off and videotaping the process or hiding in hospitals to do their fighting as Hezbollah did yesterday. Take one look at the periphery of Islam and tally up the number of conflicts it is involved with with its neighbors, from Indonesia all the way around to Somalia and the Sudan.
Even nice old “Aunt Canada” has not escaped the wrath of Islam. That is truly amazing.
Like it or not, we are in World war II or IV depending on how you want to classify the Cold War. The best image to describe it is that it is like being locked on a room with a murderous psychotic.
It is either them or us and we had better wake up to the fact.
