Remember Sheik Hasan Nasrallah’s blow-hard statement about rocketing Tel-Aviv if Beirut were bombed? Nasrallah is the head of Heizbollah, by the way.
It was meant to be a “get-tough” statement but was really like some yelling across the Grand Canyon, “If you come over here, I’ll knock your block off!”
Nasrallah knew perfectly well that the Israeli objective wasn’t the destruction of Lebanon. As a matter of fact the Israelis have as careful as one can be in war not to kill civilians and destroy the Lebanonese infrastructure except that which aids Hezbollah.
So Nasrallah is a phoney.
But a clever, dangerous phoney like Hitler and Saddam Hussein.
The first thing we need to do to win this global war, which it is, is not to get sucked into the Islamic-fascist mind games promulgated by the marxist liberal press.
“Spirit is the root and center of a fight” says a Chinese proverb and so it is.
Forty years of liberal guilt-dumping and victim-posturing have gotten into the heads and souls of many Americans.
We need to become aware of that a expunge it. Yes, there was such a thing a slavery in this country. It was unjust and cruel but white people like John Woolman, Samuel Wilberforce,and a guy named Lincoln finally did somethingabout it.
No Communist did anything about the gulags in the Soviet Union, the Left’s dream state, except to hide and deny them.
