Mr, Stix,

I have seen you din't received the news about our ellections: Paul Martin has been ousted of power last February and remplaced by the conservative Stephen Harper from the new conservative party. Even if the federal government is quite unstable right now, I don't believe we will have to go to the pools very soon.

Maybe I sound like gloating but many of my fellows Canadians are thinking that some people in Washington are sleeping "With the gaz on" about that very issue. Since we are exporting 85% of everything we make to the states, be sure we are worried about the health of your economy.

Mr. Toubrouk,

"There’s one little detail in that wonderfull text that you fail to explore, Mr Stix: Why do the Canadians are not jumping in the 'We are all american' parade?

"While being a part of a 'Pan-American-Union' would pay for our titanic debt, I don’t see any insensitives for the great white north to jump into that bandwagon."

You need to gloat a little less, and read a little more carefully. The "'We are all American' parade" is of illegal immigrants. There are no incentives for Americans to support a North American Union (not a 'Pan-American-Union'), and they aren't jumping on any bandwagon, either. But Paul Martin is putting you and your fellow Canadians on that bandwagon, whether you like it or not. And you will pay for Latin American welfare, just as we will. So, you can just keep on gloating all the way into North American bureaucratic slavery.

Mr. Knight,

Yes.

I have come to the conclusion that George W. Bush thinks he's all-fire clever, and will confuse everyone to death, while pursuing some grand strategy. One of the problems with such people is that they aren't half as clever as they think they are. Specifically, there are always horrible consequences to their grand schemes that they never calculated.

Why? simply because we have some pride, that our government is not rotten with coruption and that the secular human freedoms are enforced here.

When a Canadian leave for the states to work, he's an elite with a bag full of diplomas. Mexico mostly export a barely litterate workforce. This is the real problem; The U.S. of A. is slowly becoming the latin america's welfare system.

One of the bigest "jab" W. Bush ever done to Canadians was to call Mexicans "American's best friends" at the begining of his first mandate. Maybe he need to be remembered that a friend don't try to smuggle his children in your home so he can steal in the freezer and bring back some food...

It seems we have the doctrine of cross purposes. Most of us are kept working at cross purposes to each other. We fight the war on terror, with troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, without our troops ever being allowed to actually WIN the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, while we go through Hell just to ride an airplane, meanwhile CAIR, the political wing of Al Quaida, is being given VIP tours of our airport security!
I can go on, unfortunately, but you get the picture.
