Country Star Troy Lee Gentry Murders Tame Bear Named Cubby
In a world of male pop stars who aren’t adverse to wearing makeup and sporting frilly attire, country stars are real men who croon about chasing women, guzzling beer and raising hell.
The only country star ever to join PETA, the animal rights organization, did so only because he thought it was an acronym for “People Eating Tasty Animals”.
Troy Lee Gentry of the hugely popular country music duo Montgomery Gentry, has been charged with killing a tame bear and then pretending it was a hunting trophy.
Gentry, 39, was arraigned in federal court on a charge of conspiracy to falsely label an animal.
This is a despicable act and I hope that Gentry will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The cold-hearted monster shot the harmless bear in its pen with a bow and arrow and then the owner of the preserve tagged the poor creature and registered it with the state as if it had been killed in the wild.
The tame bear was named “Cubby”, this coward would probably murder Bambi and claim that he killed a 5-point buck.
If Gentry is not a real hunter, then he’s also probably not the hell raiser and Romeo that he brags about being in his songs. Â
Gentry has been exposed as a heartless killer and as a brazen liar. Gentry should be shunned by country music lovers and animal lovers.

Man, if you just knew that these animals taste a lot like chicken, you would give him a break. Now, where can I buy some of his records?

That Gentry shot a bear is no issue whatsoever, in my opinion.
That he shot a TAME bear in an enclosure is a mockery to actual game hunters.
That he lied about it afterwards simply shows that he’s a liar, incapable of at least admitting to the mockery of hunting he demonstrated.
I have never felt comfortable about killing animals with bows and arrows, although a number of bowhunters have assured me that well-placed shots don’t cause any undue suffering.

Another reason why Morons shouldn’t be allowed to own any kind of weapon.

How about a BALANCED account of what happened. I think what he did was just a spoiled, lazy, rich boy act, pure and simple. Joe Z.
