Seems to me there has been a pattern of behavior established by women with this condition. Should society not err in favor of child safety and remove children from women diagnosed with this? Should not all women who have given birth be screened for this condition and appropriate action taken to protect defensless babies? The unspoken term for this crime is “post-partum abortion”, which is murder when done by a father, but a lesser crime when done by a mother. Babies are apparently better off dead when mommy doesn’t want them, screw the father. Stoopid western civilization! Don’cha know; tricks is for women.

Womenhood is an excuse for virtually any crime.

The evidence and data is irrefutable.

Never mind with the massive manhunt, it was a woman who torched the baby to death, so its all ok, right?

‘Post natal depression is also liable to increase the risk of her acting in an impulsive or reckless fashion. It is clear that she didn’t feel that she was coping with the child.

‘It is clear that she fell very unsupported. It was clear that she didn’t know what to do about her situation and it is clear she was feeling depressed. That was her situation, in my view, in the period before the homicide.’

Feminist Jurisprudence: There is no law, only what SHE says SHE was (allegedly) feeling to determine right and wrong, legal and illegal. She says she “felt unsupported”, so its ok to burn the baby to death.

Since they didn’t explain, its a good assumption that she killed her baby out of spite and vengeance towards the boyfriend. My guess is he loved his son, but not her, so she showed him what she and her complicit judiciary is willing to do in such instances.

I wonder what they would do to the father if he didn’t pay child support because he was “depressed” over parting with his job.

Maybe instead of giving her a place to live, Catholic Charities would have been more charitable, to the baby and father at least, by telling her to give the boy to his father and get herself a job.

Was there already a determination that it would be “in the best interests of the child” to be burned to death, or hadn’t they got around to deciding that yet?

It’s amazing what women get away with! In his book “The Myth of Male Power” Warren Farrell outlines the female-only defenses that are used to protect women from the consequences of their homicidal actions — post-partum blues is one of the defenses.

Patricia Pearson (“When She Was Bad – Violent Women and the Myth of Innocence”) is right on when she explains how society treats women like children to protect them from the consequences of their violent behavior — whether it’s killing their offspring or their partners.
