Muslims outraged by Pope Benedict’s comments; here we go again
Here we go again with another outburst from the Religion of Perpetual Outrage. Muslims worldwide are angry again, this time at (Can you guess who? Drum roll, please. . .) the pope!
Muslims are angry over some remarks made by Pope Benedict XVI during a lecture at a German university. The Vatican later said that the pope did not intend the remarks to be offensive, but you know how that goes. Anyway, here are some excerpts from the speech. As a sort of amusing exercise, see if you can pick out the parts that, once again, have Muslims worldwide having conniption fits.
I was reminded of all this recently, when I read… of part of the dialogue carried on – perhaps in 1391 in the winter barracks near Ankara – by the erudite Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Paleologus and an educated Persian on the subject of Christianity and Islam, and the truth of both.
In the seventh conversation…the emperor touches on the theme of the holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the “Book” and the “infidels”, he addresses his interlocutor with a startling brusqueness on the central question about the relationship between religion and violence in general, saying: “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”
The emperor, after having expressed himself so forcefully, goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul. “God,” he says, “is not pleased by blood – and not acting reasonably is contrary to God’s nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats.”
Sounds kinda like the pope was basically saying that violent jihad might not be a particularly good thing. What could be more infuriating than that, especially coming from a pointy-headed chief infidel? As my grandmother used to say, it’s enough to make an imam — er, I mean, a preacher — cuss.
Reaction from various imams, clerics and other Islamic authority figures continues to pour in now. Here are a few choice comments:
“He has a dark mentality that comes from the darkness of the Middle Ages. . . . It looks like an effort to revive the mentality of the Crusades.” So said Salih Kapusuz, deputy leader of the Turkish prime minister’s party.
Sure, sure, it’s the Crusades all over again. Anyone can see that.
Or how about this from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam: “What he had done is that he has quoted very offensive remarks by some emperor hundreds of years ago. It is not helpful (because) we have been trying to bridge the gap, calling for dialogue and understanding between religions.”
Really? I must have missed that call for dialogue and understanding in between the alleged Gitmo Koran-flushing riots and the Mohammad cartoon riots. I’ll have to pay better attention from now on.
Ms. Aslam went on to say that Muslims had a long history of tolerance, adding that when the Catholic kingdom of Spain expelled its Jewish population in 1492 they were welcomed by Muslim nations such as the Turkish Ottoman Empire.
Well, they’re not very welcome now, are they?  Iran’s President Ahmadgenocide — er, excuse me, Ahmadinejad — wants to wipe that tiny little Zionist regime off the map and the funny thing is, I haven’t heard anything about the Muslim masses protesting his intolerance of Jews.
But maybe the best comment of all came, once again, from the same silver-tongued spokeswoman: “Anyone who describes Islam as a religion as intolerant encourages violence.”
Wait a minute. If Islam was actually tolerant as the good lady says, then the mere description of it as intolerant wouldn’t encourage violence, would it? Doesn’t her statement actually confirm the very thing she is denying, which is the intolerance of Islam?
There I go again, trying to make logical points about something that was said by a representative of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage. Talk about an exercise in futility.
As of this writing, it remains to be seen if riots will break out around the world as they usually do when someone offends Islamic sensibilities. We can only hope for the pope’s sake that no one takes to heart one of the placards that was being displayed during the last round of riots: “BEHEAD THOSE WHO INSULT ISLAM.”

They have learned their tactics from feminists. All a group needs to do is feign outrage at the slightest perceived dissing and your western opponent will cave in like a cheap tent. Look at the editors in Europe after the Danish cartoons depicting that violent pedophile Muhammed. Notice how American men don’t even want to look women in the eye at work out of fear of a sexual harrassment charge? Notice how race in America is such a sensitive topic to bring up regardless of the context? Soon nobody will want to say anything about Muslims and Muhammed.
In WWII Japan exhibited the same fanatical extremism that Muslims, and in particular Iran, are promoting. It took dropping two nuclear bombs on Japanese cities to break their will.
Perhaps it will be a lesson that Iran must learn.

I got yer outrage right here, Achmed…
Two Middle Eastern mothers are sitting in the cafe chatting over a pint of goat milk.
The oldest of the moms pulls out her bag and starts flipping through photos and reminiscing. “This is my oldest son, Muhammad. He would be 24 now.”
The other mom replies, “I remember him as a baby.”
Mom says, “He is a martyr.”
“Oh, so sad, my Dear.”
Mom flips to another picture. “And this is my second son, Kalil. He would be 21.”
“Oh, I remember him; he had such curly hair when he was born.”
Mom sighs, “He’s a martyr, too.”
“Oh, gracious me”, says the second mother.
“And this is my third son, my beautiful Ahmed. He would be 18″, Mom whispers.
“Yes”, says her friend enthusiastically, “I remember when he started school.”
“He’s a martyr also”, Mom says, with tears in her eyes.
After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photos and says,
“They blow up SO fast, don’t they?”

Here is what the Muslim (Sunni) “Pope” says about Jews and Christians. Islam is pathological and evil. Our cause in fighting these bastards is just.
November 1, 2002 No.11
Based on Koranic Verses, Interpretations, and Traditions, Muslim Clerics State: The Jews Are the Descendants of Apes, Pigs, And Other Animals
By Aluma Solnick*
Introduction
Depicting Jews – and sometimes also Zionists – as “the descendants of apes and pigs” is extremely widespread today in public discourse in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
For example, in a weekly sermon in April 2002, Al-Azhar Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi, the highest-ranking cleric in the Sunni Muslim world, called the Jews “the enemies of Allah, descendants of apes and pigs.”[1]
In one of his sermons, Saudi sheikh Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sudayyis, imam and preacher at the Al-Haraam mosque – the most important mosque in Mecca – beseeched Allah to annihilate the Jews. He also urged the Arabs to give up peace initiatives with them because they are “the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the violators of pacts and agreements, the murderers of the prophets, and the offspring of apes and pigs.”[2]
“Read history,” called Al-Sudayyis in another sermon, “and you will understand that the Jews of yesterday are the evil fathers of the Jews of today, who are evil offspring, infidels, distorters of [others'] words, calf-worshippers, prophet-murderers, prophecy-deniers… the scum of the human race ‘whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs…’ These are the Jews, an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil, and corruption…”[3]
In a sermon at the Said Al-Jandoul mosque in Al-Taif, Saudi sheikh Ba’d bin Abdallah Al-Ajameh Al-Ghamidi explained that “the qualities of the Jews” were present at all times and in all places: “The current behavior of the brothers of apes and pigs, their treachery, violation of agreements, and defiling of holy places… is connected with the deeds of their forefathers during the early period of Islam – which proves the great similarity between all the Jews living today and the Jews who lived at the dawn of Islam.”[4]
In an August 2001 sermon, Sheikh Ibrahim Madhi, Palestinian Authority official and imam of the Sheikh Ijlin mosque, Gaza City’s main mosque, called on the Palestinian people to forget their internal disagreements and turn all weapons against Jews: “lances must be directed at the Jews, the enemies of Allah, the nation accursed in Allah’s book. Allah described [them] as apes and pigs, calf-worshipers, idol-worshippers…”[5]
Seeing Jews as “descendants of apes and pigs” is common also in Shi’ite Islam. Such statements appear, for instance, in a 1998 speech by Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on the occasion of the Shi’ite ‘Ashoura holiday. Nasrallah regretted that the holiday fell “on the 50th anniversary of the bitter and distressing historical catastrophe of the establishment of the state of the grandsons of apes and pigs – the Zionist Jews – on the land of Palestine and Jerusalem.” He closed his speech with these words: “… We reaffirm the slogan of the struggle against the Great Satan and call, like last year: ‘Death to America. To the murderers of the prophets, the grandsons of apes and pigs,’ we say: … ‘Death to Israel…’”[6]
These statements are made not only by clerics and preachers. Following their lead, public opinion leaders in the Arab world also call the Jews “the descendants of apes and pigs.” The image has pervaded the public consciousness, even in child-rearing. In May 2002, Iqraa, the Saudi-Egyptian satellite television station, which according to its website[7] sets for itself the goals of “highlighting aspects of Arab Islamic culture that inspire respect,” “highlighting the true and tolerant picture of Islam and refuting the accusations directed against Islam,” and “planting a spirit of mutual understanding and dialogue among members of the nation and opening channels of cultural connection with the cultures of other nations,” interviewed a three-and-a-half-year-old “real Muslim girl” about Jews. On “The Muslim Woman Magazine” program, the girl was asked whether she liked Jews; she answered, “no.” When asked why she didn’t like them, she said that Jews were “apes and pigs.” “Who said this?” the moderator asked. The girl answered, “Our God.” “Where did He say this?” “In the Koran.” At the end of the interview, the pleased moderator said: “No [parents] could wish for Allah to give them a more believing girl than she… May Allah bless her, her father and mother. The next generation of children must be true Muslims. We must educate them now while they are children, so that they will be true Muslims.”[8]
In April 2002, a weekly talk show on the Al-Jazeera satellite television station, “The Opposite Direction” which claims to have tens of millions of viewers across the world, addressed the question “Is Zionism worse than Nazism?” The moderator, Dr. Faisal Al-Qassam, included in the discussion the opinion of a viewer who wrote in from the station’s website: “The sons of Zion, whom our God described as the sons of apes and pigs, will not be deterred unless there is a real holocaust, that will destroy all of them at once, together with the traitors – those who collaborate with them, the scum of this [Islamic] nation.”[9]
Salim ‘Azzouz, columnist for the Al-Ahrar Egyptian opposition daily, affiliated with the religious Liberal Party, described Israel’s May 2000 withdrawal from Lebanon: “They fled with only the skin on their bodies, like pigs flee. And why say ‘like,’ when they actually are pigs and apes?”[10]
This paper aims to place these references to Jews as apes and pigs in their religious and historical context and show their roots in Muslim religious sources.
Chapter One:
Islamic Religious Sources on the Jews – The ‘Descendants of Apes and Pigs’
According to Islam, the ancient Jews were turned into animals for transgressing the word of God.[11] This divine punishment is mentioned in the most important sources of Islamic religious law, in both the Koran’s recounting of the divine revelation, and in the extremely reliable Hadiths (traditions of the Prophet Muhammad) compiled by the leading ninth-century sages Muslim and Al-Bukhari,[12] which mention also mice, lizards, and other animals in the same context.
The divine punishment of Jews is mentioned in three Koranic verses: “… They are those whom Allah has cast aside and on whom His wrath has fallen and of whom He has made some as apes and swine…” (5:60); “…You have surely known the end of those from amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath, in consequence of which we condemned them: Be ye like apes, despised” (2:65);[13] and “when, instead of amending, they became more persistent in the pursuit of that which they were forbidden, we condemned them: Be ye as apes, despised” (7:166).[14]
Arab literature (Adab) also discussed Jews’ transformation into animals. In his 9th century treatise The Book of Animals, the greatest of these authors, Al-Jahiz,[15] mentions that it is generally thought that the cheetah, eel, white ant, mouse, and lizard were originally Jews. He mentions the tradition telling how a sage saw a man eating a lizard and said to him: “Know that you have eaten one of the sheikhs of the sons of Israel.” He does not mention why they were changed into animals, but does say that proof of this is that “the lizard’s foot resembles the human hand.”[16]
Chapter Two:
Koranic Commentary: Christian and Muslim Sinners Were Also Transformed into Apes and Pigs
Although in the Koran, transformation into apes and pigs is connected only with Jews, Koranic commentary links transformation into apes and pigs with Christians as well. Verse 5:112-115 relates that the Apostles wanted to know whether God could bring down a table laden with food from the heavens. Jesus directed this request to God, and it was answered. However, God warned him that anyone who ate at the table and would then commit blasphemy would be punished in a way that no one had yet been punished. In his commentary on this verse, the renowned 10th century commentator Al-Tabari[17] says, that despite God’s warning, some did commit blasphemy and were punished by being turned into apes and pigs – or, in another version, only into pigs.[18]
Another verse linking Christians with apes and pigs is 3:61; according to the commentary on this verse, a deputation of Christians from Najran came to Al-Madina to debate the Prophet about the question: Was Jesus the son of God, as the Christians claimed, or flesh and blood, with no mother or father, like the first man, as the Muslims claimed? After finding that they could not agree, they decided to meet again and curse each other, thinking that God’s curse would apply to whichever of them was lying. When the Christian deputation saw that the Prophet brought with him his relatives from the ‘Ali bin Abu Taleb family, they were frightened, and acknowledged his prophetic mission and decided to make peace with him, recognize his rule, and pay jizya [poll tax paid by non-Muslims under Muslim rule]. According to a Hadith of the Prophet, cited mostly in Shi’ite sources, had they instead cursed him they would have been turned into apes and pigs.[19]

The parallels of Islam and Naziism are obvious.
September 15th, 2006 at 12:37 pm
Read ‘The Force of Reason’ by Oriana Fallaci.
It details how Islam is returning to take over europe. The perspective is interesting, coming from a female atheist. She lays it out and contrasts the difference between the Christian concepts and the Islam concepts.
She also points out that people are fearful in europe of these social changes that the left is pushing and that the islamists are riding in on.
As the imam points out, it is a war of the wombs…and we know what happens in feminized western societies. We abort our future populations while the islamics multiply at the rate of 5 kids per wife.
September 15th, 2006 at 1:34 pm
And when the takeover is irreversible there will be killing of Christians (if there are any left in Europe) and Jews on a mass scale. The first step is taking away your enemy’s humanity. (Hitler’s propaganda machine viewed Jews as rats taking over Europe). After that, it is easy to get the people to kill the enemy. Afterall, they would’nt be killing people; they’d be killing an ape-descendant or a pig-descendant.
September 15th, 2006 at 2:03 pm
……and then the Pope said “Bring ‘em on”.
Let’s face it fellow infidels, there is no way the Muslim faith can be carried into the next century as a productive culture without a reformation internally,… and that may have to begin by external “influence”.

It’s perhaps instructive, if only because history once consisted of facts rather than spin, to consider that U.S. foreign policy created Saddam, Osama, and arguably (indirectly)Ahmadinejad.
Saddam was a cultivated CIA asset on the Company’s payroll. The U.S. backed Saddam in the dceade long Irad-Iran war. Google the photo of Rummy shaking Saddam’s hand (and slipping him a few billion) back in the good ol’ days.
Osama was likewise on the CIA payroll when the U.S. was backing the anti-Soviet resistance fighters in Afganistan. We called Osama and his men “freedom fighters” then, not terrorists. Hmmm?
Ahmadinejad would not exist if the U.S. had not overthrown via a coup d’etat a moderate democratically elected Iranian government and installed the infamous Shah. The Iranian revolution followed, with the still-current dominance of the mullahs and radical Islam as the legacy of botched U.S. policy.
The War on Terror was incubated in a U.S. foreign policy cauldron that dates back to the 1970’s.
Was it Pogo who so eloquently observed —
“We have met the enemy, and he is us!”
September 15th, 2006 at 3:14 pm
Leaders and governments that the U.S. has “done business with” in the past sometimes change their loyalties as the years and decades go by and global circumstances change. Past U.S. administrations may have done wise things and not-so-wise things. Perhaps they made sense for U.S. interests at the time. Maybe not. Being a superpower, the U.S. has global interests. Being a superpower, it alone may need to do what the global community can’t or won’t do.
The Shah of Iran (Mohammad Reza Pahlavi) was installed with the help of a Democratic Administration. During WWII the USA needed a secure and steady supply of energy for it’s war effort and for the homeland.
The Mujahadeen was supported by the CIA. I have not seen anything that poves OBL was directly supported by the CIA.
It wasn’t only an American Republican who did the diplomatic two-step with Saddam. Every US administration did. Even French leader Chirac shook hands with Saddam decades ago. This was pre-Desert Storm, pre-Kurdish gassing by Saddam, pre-Iraq invasion. It was about shared interests: oil.
Once one looks below the surface of superficial thinking and gets deeper into the issues, things get a bit messier. Generalities don’t provide adequate explanations, nor do they provide adequate solutions.
The problem with liberals is that they only see America as the root of every problem. I live in the real world and listen to people who do as well, and seek real-world answers to challenges in a dangerous world. For this reason the Democrats will continue to not have the trust of most American’s concerning protecting America.
After liberals lecture America, they would be wise to provide real-world answers to real world problems concerning America’s security.
September 15th, 2006 at 4:09 pm
I don’t doubt that we, as well as others have tried to manipulate governments with unfortunate results…good or bad. However, simply stated, the Muslim “religion of peace” has been at war with most any other society by their infidel status or even their own sect. When was the last time you saw a Catholic cut the head off a Methodist? Or Baptist blow up an LDS school of children?
Liberals should see the potential to “re-educate” these poor wayward religious zealots…
And maybe even get a group from NOW into the womens social to show them how to become a liberated woman.
I agree, we make bad political decisions, but they are making an even worse decision to train their children and generations to kill you and your family….and they will not negotiate about your head.
Look deeply into the eyes of the photographs of those “radicals” and be glad you are not looking into his actual eyes. What don’t you understand about his desire to kill you? He has been raised as a child to hate you and everything you and I represent. It’s going to take a generation of reeducation and compassion…..after the war.
September 15th, 2006 at 4:31 pm
“It’s perhaps instructive, if only because history once consisted of facts rather than spin, to consider that U.S. foreign policy created Saddam, Osama, and arguably (indirectly)Ahmadinejad.”
LOL……. U.S. foreign policy did not “create Saddam” and if you try actually checking the facts about his life you would find that Saddam started murdering people by the time he was 15 years old.
The CIA or American foreign policy did not put him in office – he became a member of the Ba’ath Party, worked as an enforcer, and alternately rode on the coat-tails of his uncle as well as murdered and intimidated his way to the top in Iraq.
Similarly, Osama was not a creation of U.S. policy, either.
He fought the Soviets in Afghanistan, just as the U.S.-equipped Afghan forces did.
Many hard-of-thinking individuals assume that simply because the U.S. equipped muhajadeen in Afghanistan that somehow creating Osama was a result of U.S. foreign policy.
The world has its share of murderous Third World thugs who are willing to butcher their way to the top for power, riches, or religious fervor.
And blaming the U.S. foreign policy for those traits shows that you’re substituting some jackass’s lamebrained political ideology for actual facts.
September 15th, 2006 at 5:31 pm
DadWithGirls, you need to wake up. Stop emulating brain-dead liberals and try helping the cause. America may not be perfect, but it’s the best hope for the world in all of history. In the last 20 years the world’s democracies have gone from being a small minority to being a small majority, and it was the United States that brought that about. Whining and crying doesn’t help – in fact it emboldens the enemy and gets American soldiers killed. It got them killed in Vietnam, and it’s getting them killed today.
September 16th, 2006 at 5:54 am
Squiggy…
Feminists seek to shut down anyone who disagrees with them by calling labeling those who oppose them as sexist…
Liberals do the same by labeling those who disagree with them as racists…
So it doesn’t surprise me in the least that conservatives (extreme right wing nuts) do the same by claiming that those who disagree with them are giving aid and comfort to the enemy…
It just so happens that DadwithGirls is correct in that past American foreign policy has bought about the very conditions we face today…
Just as Hitler was able to come to power in Germany due to the economic chaos caused by the treaty the Germans were forced to sign by the allies after at the end of WWI…So too did Saddam rise to power as a result of the chaos formented by the CIA in Iraq…
It was after all Ronald Reagan (the false god who gave us no fault divorce of extreme right wing nuts) who sold Saddam the poison gas he used on the Kurds during the Iran-Iraq war…
By placing America on a pedestal and worshiping her as a goddess (just as they do women) while claiming that she has never and will never do no wrong…That each and every act by those within the American govenment in regards to foreign policy no matter how immoral is justified…
Conservatives show just how much they have in common with the cowardly feminists and liberals that insist that females have all the rights but none of the responibilities…

fourthwire –
“And blaming the U.S. foreign policy for those traits shows that you’re substituting some jackass’s lamebrained political ideology for actual facts.”
In fact, I did not blame U.S. policy makers at all. I observed that they employed useful idiots.
Like…. ummmm …. YOU!
To make MY point.

Mr. Pinga …
Please post more often.
The toxin of logic may eventually cure MND of it’s delusional right-wing dementia.
It’s a challenge.
These guys don’t even see FEMINISM as a threat to their existence.
They’re more obsessed with electing Rebublicans who voted 100% for VAWA 2005!
And, it’s a freakin’ MRA site!
Comedy UN-central, if you get my drift….
Sad, sad, sad…..
September 16th, 2006 at 12:02 pm
A.) The CIA did not foment chaos resulting in Saddam’s rise to power. Also, he murdered his way to the top. That is provable. Your position is not.
B.)The U.S. under Reagan or any other U.S. administration never sold Saddam poison gas. That is provable. Your position is not.
C.) This is a men’s site. You will see that men here are brutally honest regarding women and feminism. There is no pedestal for women here. That is provable. Your position is not.
D.) Many men here are not Republican’s. There is as must criticism of those chivilrous traditionalists as there are of liberals. We do see the threat of feminism. Glad to see a few of you liberals are finally “getting it” too. I suspect most here are Independents.
Finally, I have a lot of problems with Republican’s and not only the Democrats. Afterall, the Republican’s voted for the VAWA as much as the Democrats. I have big problems with Bush except for the war on terrorism and the Supreme Court nominations. I disagree with Democrats on virtually everything. We have a two party system. Feminists are the dominant force in the Democratic party and any man that votes for them is voting against himself 100% of the time. Third parties to date have had little impact besides taking enough votes from one side to let the other side win. Therefore I believe in working within that reality. Those Democrats who are Kool-Aid free and see the dangers of feminism should look at their own party. The age 30 and under female vote is reliably Democratic. The Republican’s and Democrat’s both work to win over this demographic. In the process BOTH screw over men. The Democrats (liberals) give this demograhic ever more freebies at the expense of men. The Republican’s (traditionalists) also work to give this demographic freebies at the expense of men to get their vote. The key to neutralizing this threat to men (in each case)is to move the age 30 and under female vote from the Democrat column to the Republican column. I don’t say this out of any love for Republican’s. Where are they going to go? A third party? Read text above. If they vote Republican the traditionalists will no longer have to screw the men to win the women and the liberals will no longer be able to screw the men to get the women’s vote. Will this happen. Not likely in the near future.
Although I understand there may be some impact on some readers using dramatic words like “extreme right wing nuts” (way over used btw-probably has already lost it’s impact), and other silly phrases like “toxin of logic” (laughable when you consider that the messages are not logical at all, not factual at all, but are purely emotive).
September 16th, 2006 at 12:02 pm
Pinga is completely wrong. America did NOT sell “Saddam the poison gas he used on the Kurds during the Iran-Iraq war.” That is a fabrication, and anyone willing to do a modicum of research rather than drinking the Left-wing Moonbat Kool-aid, would know that.
As for the rest of your blather, Conservatives don’t accuse
“those who disagree with them are giving aid and comfort to the enemy”
Only those who make public statements which actually do give aid and comfort to the enemy. There is a difference between a statement of disagreement and a statement which echoes the lies of our enemies. There is a difference between saying that our policies are wrong, and fighting every single action our duly elected government and our military takes even when those actions are clearly in the best interest of the security of our nation.
Dad, it is YOUR “logic” and that of those like you that is toxic, not logic itself.
September 16th, 2006 at 12:18 pm
Liberal males have the cloudy reasoning of an adolescent girl emoting at the school prom.
That is not only,
Sad, sad, sad, it’s
Scary, scary, scary…
September 16th, 2006 at 5:50 pm
W.M. — “Dad, it is YOUR “logic†and that of those like you that is toxic, not logic itself.”
I find it amusing that so much psychological projection can be inspired just by simple questions that rattle the cages of the conservatively conscripted hereabouts.
Not one reply has disproved or even intelligently critiqued that MAIN IDEA —
WE ARE AT WAR WITH OURSELVES!
When you get up in the morning, are you worried that Osama may nuke your town?
Or, are you more worried that you can’t afford to top off your gas tank?
FEAR is the ideology of this administration.
And when you are afraid, REASON flies away.
It’s simple biology, really.
Frightened mammals do not reason well.
Thet behave like ….
well, contemporary Americans.
September 16th, 2006 at 6:22 pm
Your disconnect from reality is remarkable.
September 16th, 2006 at 7:28 pm
Denis–
“Liberal males have the cloudy reasoning of an adolescent girl emoting at the school prom.”
Please note how this so-called MRA immediately lapses into feminist “shaming” tactics.
This site is becoming a textbook for why there is no actual Men’s Movement.
Unless we’re referring to the useless excretion of what feminists call — “boys talkin’ shit.”
September 16th, 2006 at 7:47 pm
If the shoe fits. You think and behave like a girl. “Immediately lapse”??? Please. I have written unemotional commentary here in response to your, and your like minded Kool-Aid drinker’s falsifications, histrionics and silly insults. When I use a metaphor that fits, you wet your pants and emote again like a girl. Like an offended girl, like a feminist, you believe it is your right alone to throw dirt, but not truth, and then when dirt is finally thrown back you behave like a spoiled crying girl who can’t have her way. Save your “shaming” verbiage for your sewing circle. It is utterly scary that there are adult males in this country who think and behave as you.
September 16th, 2006 at 8:36 pm
DAd,
Your statement doesn’t hold water. I do see feminism as a real threat to our society as do most conservatives. However, I don’t fear feminist anymore than I fear Osama Bin Loser. I also don’t fear not being able to “top off [my] gas tank” As with all of your ilk you immediately rush to the extreme. Your hyper-emotional reactions are those of a woman (or a Liberal).
Actually “We” are not at war with ourselves, Liberals and apparently the Democrat faithful are at war with America, the Constitution, and anybody that stands between them and power.
As a Christian, I fear very little (the words “Speaker of the House Pelosi” come to mind). Faith in God eliminates those kinds of unreasoned fears from which you seem to suffer. God provides all I need whether protection or sufficiency.
As for “feminist shaming tactics,” as Dennis said…If the shoe fits…You are the one spouting feminist terms and analogies, not us.

Hello DadwithGirls…
Logic is definitely not their strong suit and they are like my Dad used to be and my brothers are today…Pussy whooped to the core yet always looking to stomp on any and all males who appear weaker then themselves in their eyes…In order to massage their bruised male egos and prove to themselves that they are the man…
Growing up history was a hobby of mine…The CIA
will not hesitate to cause the fall of a foreign gov. that will not do our bidding…Nor could they care less if their hand picked replacement is a murderous dictator as long as he does our gov. bidding…
Many years ago our own military leaders considered sponsoring terrorist acts against the unsuspecting American people in order to garner popular support for their agenda…Fortunately they abandoned that dispecible idea…
Lib. Dem’s and Con. Repub’s are fighting an all out war to take over this country and they could care less about the Constitution of the Bill of Rights…there is No lie is too low and no act so vile that they wouldn’t hesitate to utter or committ if it will acheive their goals..
Because of the support of the religious right and the war on terror Bush has been able to speed up boththe concentration of governmental power in the hands of one party. As well as the steady erosion of the rights enjoyed by the Ameruican people that are guarenteed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights…
Guys like Will, Denis, Hal and Squiggy whose eyes can not see and itching ears can not hear anything except for what they want to see and hear…Are little better that useful idiots for the Talirepublicans and conservatives who are also beholden to their female supporters…
These guys have worked long and hard to hijack and subvert MND from a MRA site to an extreme right wing nut site and unfortunately they have succeeded…
BTW After giving in repeatedly to my stepmothers whims throughout the years my father, who was a successful Chiropractor, died from an STD infection intentionally passed on to him by one of my stepmothers…

Pussy whooped to the core yet always looking to stomp on any and all males who appear weaker then themselves in their eyes…
Right. Telling you and “dad” you’re wrong is “stomping” on you. An ego that easily bruised is pretty pathetic. And it’s “whipped”, not “whooped” (or is that stomping on you again?).
Lib. Dem’s and Con. Repub’s are fighting an all out war to take over this country and they could care less about the Constitution of the Bill of Rights…
Typical liberal, are you? The only time you people ever quote the constitution is when you have no argument, and conservatives call you on it. The constitution is your impediment, not ours. It’s our holy grail.

Perhaps if your father had stayed married to his first wife rather than cruising through a series of “stepmothers” he would still be alive.
Immorality has its price.

Yada…Yada…Yada…Squiggy you’d be well advised to peddle your con. repub. propaganda and out right lies to the choir of useful bigots in the churchs of the reglious right…
The only so called holy grail that your ilk seeks is absolute power which is why both lib. dem. and con. repub. seek to subvert both the Constitution and the Bill of Rights…
Take care for your path ends in the lake of fire created for the Devil and His angels at the end of time…

Will unless you know someone personally you should refrain from making snap judgements about their lives…
As it was my Father never left nor divorced any of his wives in spite of my mothers well documented (by her own addmission) acts of adultry…
My mother and first stepmother left my father when they realized that they could no longer control him…His third wife left when she realized that she could con my dad out of his money wether she was married to him or not…She even went so far as to bare two children from another relationship that she convinced my father was platonic…
My own mother has been married 8 times and recently divorced her 8th husband on paper in order to apply for her 7th husbands (who is deceased) social security and plans to remarry my current stepfather…
My fathers primary fault and the cause of his downfall was that like you and those of your ilk…He refused to listen to those who tried to tell him the truth about what was really going on until he was forced to admit it…But only after it was already too late to avoid the fate of an untimely death…

I’m still waiting for one factual and truthful point. That kool-Aid must be pretty strong stuff for you “guys”.

Will unless you know someone personally you should refrain from making snap judgements about their lives…
And yet you know enough about me to condemn me to hell? Wow, that’s some amazing power you control.
By the way, I’m buying stock in ALCOA, as obviously they’re selling you a lot lately.

Just as Hitler was able to come to power in Germany due to the economic chaos caused by the treaty the Germans were forced to sign by the allies after at the end of WWI…So too did Saddam rise to power as a result of the chaos formented by the CIA in Iraq…
Denis replied:
The CIA did not foment chaos resulting in Saddam’s rise to power. Also, he murdered his way to the top. That is provable. Your position is not.
Mr. Pinga did not wish to try and prove his point further.
Mr. Pinga said:
It was after all Ronald Reagan (the false god who gave us no fault divorce of extreme right wing nuts) who sold Saddam the poison gas he used on the Kurds during the Iran-Iraq war…
Denis replied:
The U.S. under Reagan or any other U.S. administration never sold Saddam poison gas. That is provable. Your position is not.
Mr. Pinga did not wish to try and prove his point further.
Mr. Pinga said:
By placing America on a pedestal and worshiping her as a goddess (just as they do women) while claiming that she has never and will never do no wrong…That each and every act by those within the American govenment in regards to foreign policy no matter how immoral is justified…
Conservatives show just how much they have in common with the cowardly feminists and liberals that insist that females have all the rights but none of the responibilities…
Denis replied:
Many men here are not Republican’s. There is as must criticism of those chivilrous traditionalists as there are of liberals. We do see the threat of feminism. Glad to see a few of you liberals are finally “getting it†too.
Mr Pinga replied:
Logic is definitely not their strong suit and they are like my Dad used to be and my brothers are today…Pussy whooped to the core yet always looking to stomp on any and all males who appear weaker then themselves in their eyes…In order to massage their bruised male egos and prove to themselves that they are the man…
Mr. Pinga-Actually we only stomp on males (if you really are males-you exhibit too much emotionalism that we sometimes forget you claim to be males)who say things they can’t back up, keep avoiding challenges to their thinking, and who make subsequent accusations that we have refuted earlier.

Growing up history was a hobby of mine…
I’m glad it was only a hobby. You would not be able to make a living at it. You can’t back up any of your positions. The problem with logic, as any rational person reading this thread can see, is not your strength.
