A Serious Question
Which has to be aske, I think:
Has the Islamic world, as a whole, reached the point where violence is the only thing they will understand?
I’m serious as hell. There has been meetings, negotiations, appeasement, acquiescence to demands – and all met with more violence. What else will work? What else does one suggest we try?
All things aside – Bush met 9/11 with violence. And the bullshit stopped, at least on mass scales. Has anything actually worked besides that? Instances?
