As John Murtari wrote in his weekly newsletter; the appellate judge denied his stay. He’s decided to ask Judge Hedges for a reduced sentence. If that doesn’t work he’ll move forward with an appeal.

John has a positive attitude and sounds good, but I sometimes wonder if he’s losing his train of thought more than normal. Since that’s what happened last time when he got real sick, it always makes me concerned.

I’ve printed your emails and sent them to John. He wants you to know that if you asked him to contact you, he needs a street address. He doesn’t have access to a computer in jail.
