Gee guys, just imagine what I could do if I had an education! I will humbly keep trying.

Oh, and of course men could gibber and love opera. We are all snowflakes.

It's just that I wasn't writing about men here.

I did not EVEN get into the hormone's here.

To add a few more lines...Of course men outnumber the girls in both these subjects, the point I was trying to make is that:

A woman with a decent IQ and desire, can UNDERSTAND the complexity of higher math and science.

Let me say this again. A woman, if taught right, WILL BE ABLE TO COMPREHEND these things.

Of course, it's just an opinion.

What she does with this knowledge is a whole other matter.

Most girls, due to their proclivity for language, go into teaching, or nursing, or lawyers...I understand this.

Nature does get in the way. Someone must have the babies, which can take eons of time out of pursuing nobel prizes.

Now, granted, these woman seem to be few.
Marilyn vos Savant has the highest IQ I beleive...still.

Goldie Mier...was a great leader, as was Queen Elizibeth (a much better leader than Henry)
Margaret Thatcher..well, superb.

The original computations for the first computors were done by a handful of women.

AND it was a woman physicist that found the answer that all the other top MEN physicists of the world just COULDN'T figure out.(the llth dimention, I can't recall her name)But, they acted as if it was an accident.

These men were our top thinkers. But, it took a woman to figure it out.

If men were that superior, no woman in any subject at all, would ever top them...right?

So, I agree with you. Men overwhelm the fields, nevertheless...if more of the brighter girls were encouraged, we might see at least a rise of the number of women in these subjects.

I have to think about this much more....

Congratulations, Joyanna, on your best work yet on Mensnewsdaily - very well written.

Of course the thought occurred to me that perhaps this improved work was the result of space aliens "eliminating" the REAL Joyanna Adams and substituting a lookalike with tell-tale signs of intellectual superiority manifesting themselves as improved writing skills.

If this was indeed the case, please wipe Joyanna's memory of her abduction and GIVE HER BACK.....;-)

Very well-written piece of work this time - professional grade, in my humble opinion.

"Having said that, it’s also obvious that when it comes to the process of learning, and being able to understand complex problems in mathematics, physics, or science; there is not all that much difference between us."

The fact that the major winners of such insignificant awards as the Nobel prize which used to be much coveted (until they gave it to some iranian feminist) are mostly men.

It's mostly Men that are in the top echelon of scientific and mathametical achievement, but let's downplay that as "women" suffer because of it.

But we have the above statement which sounds to me like the usual pro-fem propaganda aka... oh yes men are....but we are... blah..blah.

This whole article had me struggling to understand and comprehend, what is it really about.

Therefore his brain is wired more like a female.

Ooooohhh. I get it now. Clinton's a lesbian trapped in an idiots' body.

P.S. Bindi is awesome, isn't she? All these enviro-libs trashing her dad. All he did was save animals, build habitats, and raise world-wide awareness. That's nothing next to PETA - they've burned stuff and euthanized dogs! Take that Steve Irwin!!!

Superlatives fail this one, Joyanna.

While disagreeing profoundly with your assertion that boys and girls have even similar, let alone the same, potential for math and science excellence, the writing in this piece may be your best yet.

To wit the 1st:
Why is it so easy to envisage girls deftly acting as boys in such areas as science and math, yet so difficult to imagine boys acting as girls in such areas as chattiness and soap opera viewing?

IOW, the premise that girls will keep pace with boys in the hard logic rigor of maths and sciences if only they are encouraged early and often enough, is the same as holding that boys will match girls in how easily and well they express their feelings; and in how easily and well they relate to others, if those qualities and interests within them are nurtured and encouraged early enough and often enough.

How does that scene play in the mind's eye?

To wit the 2nd:
Ranging from current national events to personal reminiscence; from the latest science data to the feelings of a little girl; with humor leavening the serious nature of the subject, you have created perhaps the most thoughtful and best-expressed piece yet of your continuing opus Nobody's Work, which is consistently among the most readable and enjoyable of MND contributions.

Finally:
You should've 'risked' the original title.
lol!
