Pope Benedict said on Monday that Christians and Muslims must reject violence, in an unprecedented meeting with Islamic envoys to defuse anger at his use of quotes saying their faith was spread by the sword.

    Yeah, all those Christians had better renounce their violent behavior and stop all that rioting, burning, murdering, cutting off of heads, blowing up of trains and restaurants, flying of planes into buildings, lobbying rockets into downtown areas,…

    For the Pope to equate Christianity and Islam like this is ridiculous. It’s nothing more than appeasement.
