I’m glad the NCFM had a display at this conference. Just this week while I was looking at job listings I came across a position in a domestic violence center. The ad mentioned working with battered women and their children. Not one word about battered men. How long is it going to take for people to get it?

Stephen Baskerville is right, family law is the place where a person who has done NO WRONG can be deprived of life, liberty, and property.
That is its fundamental flaw.
I attack the enforcement of the resulting orders with the Antipeonage Act and with constitutional arguments, because such arguments are SO EASY to make! And 18 U.S.C. §1581 is the mechanism by which 23 of our fellow citizens can use to put an END to this bullshit by indicting the attorneys and judges who do it.
But they are not going to hand down any indictments as long as we keep the Antipeonage Act a secret.
So Teri, Stephen, lets talk about it, at least Bruce Eden has begun to say the P-word and to declare the existence of the Antipeonage Act.
We know the problem, lets start the solution:
Scream for the enforcement of the Peonage Law.
