LOL….. being an expatriate involves far more than “cutting and running”. As the matter of fact, some of the most patriotic Americans happen to be expatriates.

And some of the most American-hating s.o.b.’s live right here in America, doing their level best to destroy American society.

Geographic location of American citizens is secondary, at best…. if it matters at all.

Expatriates can vote on issues and candidates, must file tax returns, and can stay abreast of the issues just as easily as if they lived in the U.S.

We have a few choices, sit and do nothing and lose our freedom. Be a coward and move to another country, and hope that that country does not suffer the same. Or, preferably, stay here and fight. VOTE be involved in the elections, talk to your neighbors. If we can convince a few that Progressivism is just communism made to look good then maybe we can win.

I would rather die trying, like my forefathers, then throw up my hands and move to another country.

Make a choice, Defend America!!!

Fred, bless his heart, is a wonderful writer. Look, watch, learn and see as he teaches. Everything he states is defined and easily understood-even with 2 bit words…as opposed to the 5 and 10 cent words of most.

I am not pompous nor pious. I am just me…honest…and, realistic.

I am not aware of anyone in Mexico complaining about Fred’s presence in that nation.

But there’s a few million Americans complaining about illegal Mexican immigrants in their own nation.

His “Essay In Cultural Psychiatry” might be have been written to tweak noses, but like most great humor, his work is based on some embarrassing, unpleasant, or outrageous realities.

Certainly as an expatriate, Fred seems to view American society with uncommon clarity.

National Curmudgeon Laureate? It works.

Not quite Robert Johnson, but a brilliant lesser god who riffs amazingly well, and has just a little too much suspicious soul for an alleged white boy.

From his vantage point in his adopted country just south of the soon-to-be-erected 700-mile fence, Fred continues to lob incendiary missives across the Rio Grande just to tweak America’s nose. (He apparently is such an optimist that he thinks America may some day become aware of a painful sensation on its proboscis, and stop shopping and bombing long enough to diagnose the problem correctly.)

We already have a National Poet Laureate (who?), and I’d like to nominate Fred as our first National Curmudgeon Laureate.

To quote Fred the Oracle, “we could do no worse.”
