I think we all know once such a plan is actually implemented that “parents” will change to become “fathers”, because mothers can only be victims and heros in our PC world, and the real causitive factors are to be ignored or concealed by government bureaucrats, feminists, greedy and corrupt Bar Associations, and the leftist media. They seem to like to portray new totalitarian laws as if they will apply equally to men and women, with the first example case being a woman, then it always turns out to be just another anti-father measure. Maybe someday we can try the obvious solution, i.e. just call an end to the war against fathers, and think in terms of restoring fundamental liberties instead of continuously usurping them, regardless of what type of genitalia one was born with. But for that to happen, we’ll need something other than the leftist media telling people what to think.
And South Carolina of all places. Hmm, does that mean this is the end of the beginning of our downfall, or the beginning of the end to it? I’ve always held out hope that SC would repeat history and be the first to secede from the anti-father union myself.

I fail to see how they can legally charge men for what children do. Men don’t make babies; men and women together may make a fetus. From there, it’s only women that make babies.

I agree with the assertion that bad parents should be sterilized.
Reproduction should require a license (you must have the resources, qualifications, and character references to actually get the permit) – much like applying for a job or loan.
And un-licensed (out of wedlock) children should immediately go into the adoption pool for qualified parents (with resources, references, etc) who want children but cannot have them for medical reasons.
The only problem with these proposals is it would eliminate huge entitlements to women and the welfare departments that live off of them – and that will never do.
