A Muslim advocacy group’s successful argument that a 9th grade student from a Virginia public high school did not have to wear regulation gym attire because of her Muslim religion, has fired up a critic of Islamic radicalism.

    If the child wears the clothing for religious reasons, then requiring shorts is nonsensical. The Muslims child’s religious clothing must be forbidden. To do otherwise is a not so tacit endorsement of Islam.
    Would CAIR, or the ACLU for that matter, defend a child wearing a cross or rosary?
