Liberal Democrats Who Live In Glass Houses Should Not Throw Stones!

With the recent Foley Sex scandal in Washington, Liberal Democrats are hoping to cash in on this and make it a political issue for this falls mid term elections in which Control of the House and Senate are lying in the balance.

The Liberal Democrats are just proving the hypocracy of their party by using this.

One would think that with the list of Sexual Predators, Murderers, Thugs, Drunk Drivers and Thieves that the Liberal Democrats would like to not use this as Political Ammunition, let alone the ones who

Congressman Foley should have just declared himself a Liberal Democrat and had a cumming out party on Oprah and he would have been declared a hero and probably would have been elected Mayor For Life in San Fran Freako California.  The Foley’s of the world are what makes up the majority of Supporters of the Liberal Democrats afterall.

The Liberals are proud of their Felonious Membership.  Former President Clinton is a Sexual Predator who has been accused of Rape and found guilty of Sexual Harassment, Democrat Congressman Patrick Kennedy is a drug addict and drove a car while under the influence(A common problem for the Kennedy Klan) and the list doesn’t stop there….

If anything, the episode reveals the Democrats’ hypocrisy about their own behavior. The fact that Foley resigned virtually within minutes of being told that ABC News had copies of his salacious e-mails and text messages indicates he at least felt shame for his actions. Can the same be said for Democrats?

Sadly, it doesn’t seem so. How else can you explain the following?

In 1983, then-Democratic Rep. Gerry Studds of Massachusetts was caught in a similar situation. In his case, Studds had sex with a male teenage page — something Foley hasn’t been charged with.

Did Studds express contrition? Resign? Quite the contrary. He rejected Congress’ censure of him and continued to represent his district until his retirement in 1996.

In 1989, Rep. Barney Frank (news, bio, voting record), also of Massachusetts, admitted he’d lived with Steve Gobie, a male prostitute who ran a gay sex-for-hire ring out of Frank’s apartment. Frank, it was later discovered, used his position to fix 33 parking tickets for Gobie.

What happened to Frank? The House voted 408-18 to reprimand him — a slap on the wrist. Today he’s an honored Democratic member of Congress, much in demand as a speaker and “conscience of the party.”

In 2001,

President Clinton, who had his own intern problem, commuted the prison sentence of Illinois Rep. Mel Reynolds, who had sex with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer and pressured her to lie about it. (Reynolds also was convicted of campaign spending violations.)

As Rush Limbaugh noted Monday, “The truth is that the people on the left who are acting all outraged and stunned and angry, they don’t see what Clinton or Barney Frank or Gerry Studds did as repugnant. In fact, they view those things as private matters that didn’t affect anybody’s work, and it’s nobody’s business what somebody does with their private life, particularly when it comes to sex.”

Unless it involves a Republican. Then it’s a matter of outrage and hypocrisy.

As you can tell, the Scum rises to the top within the ranks of the Liberal Democratic Party, the scumier you are, the higher you rise!

    1. I trust your fast was meaningful.
    2. You have got to be kidding. Despite what Limbaugh and other have said, the problem that they missed is not only Foley’s emails but also that the GOP set itself up as Great Moral Arbiter. In the post-Cunningham, DeLay, Ney, Abramoff, Ralph Reed, and others’ world, the fact that Hastert turned a blind eye and is now trying to make excuses may cost control of the House in November.
    3. We have plenty of members of Congress who wink at violations of the immigration laws and then scream that the drug laws must be enforced. The fact that there are other screwups (like Kennedy elder, Kennedy younger, Frank, Studds, Cunningham) does not allow Foley, Cunningham, Ney and others to get a pass.

One of the left’s greatist sins is it’s pretense that only the right is obsessed with morals.

    1) The left continually claims that guns are evil while their bodyguards walk around with a small arsenal.

    2) They chickenlittle about global warming while running air conditioners at multiple homes at once and flying around the world in private jets.

    3) They pontificate about racial equality while living in gated communities or limosined out to the suburbs and send their kids to private schools (Jimmy Carter’s daughter being the exception.)

    4) CREATED MASSIVE sexual harassment laws which ensnared republicans and other men as virtual criminals for such remarks as “you look nice today” and then turning around and dismantling them the second Bill Clinton was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

    5) (perhaps more importantly) smugly proclaim that they’re better educated and intelligent than ignorant, religiously radical right-wingers who look down upon others (get the irony in that?)

(Even as polls show that republicans are actually better educated and literate than democrats. (compare the Indiana public school system to DC))

    6) Lecture about the evils of capitalism and McD’s. (No direct hypocrisy there, but the smugness and morality behind criticizing the wealthy and pretending to be intellectual is 99% of what motivates the typical leftist.)

When you add all those up, the average church going right winger politician is probably _more_ laid back and relaxed in comparison to the firebreathing man-hating feminoid marxist leftist.

I think that the public as a whole have extremely low expectations when it comes to the Liberal Democrats in the area of morality, even Democrats themselves. The public expect more from Conservatives and Republicans and have learned not to from libs.
Once again, I believe that Foley should be hung by his nuts till they fall off, I just don’t think the Dems should be so quick to cast stones. Their ranks are full of losers, thugs, sexual predators and other low lifes that belong in prison.

    Squiggy Says:

It will likely be enough to help the demoncrats win the House. That’s okay, as long as we keep the Senate. The world would end if they took both. If they take just the House, their insanity over the next two years would ensure a long time out of power. And maybe it would scare the republicrats into locating their spines again.

You must have caught Rosie’s ranting and raving on the View when she went off on the Amish shooting.

An excerpt a May 26, 2006 article from World Net Daily.

The bodyguard of actress, comedienne and staunch gun-control advocate Rosie O’Donnell has applied for a concealed gun permit, possibly to allow him to carry a gun when accompanying one of her children to public school later this year.

Yes, PolishKnight, I agree with all your points wholeheartedly.

The Rep Mark Foley scandal is really a Carl Rove plot to attract more Democrat voters.

    On the more serious side:

you wrote:”The Liberal Democrats are just proving the hypocracy of their party by using this.”

I think the argument makes more sense if you say they are proving the relativism of their party.

    Will Malven Says:

    VelVel,

The difference is, Foley, Cunnningham and Ney have not and will not “get a pass.” Our party has little tolerance to this kind of misbehavior.

On the otherhand, Kennedy (Old FatDrunkStupid), Kennedy (younger), Clinton, Studds, and Franks were all given “a pass” by members of their own party.

Democrats don’t care what you do so long as you vote socialist.
