“At some point there is a limit to how far we stretch the self-indulgent search for the alternative that we have been involved in the last 30 or 40 years in this country.” – Pete Wilson, long-time anchor at ABC7 and KGO 810AM in San Francisco.

By what I can discern from this article, the self-described “politically incorrect” radio host is under attack because he criticized the situation of a baby being created outside the bonds of a romantic relationship. The parents aren’t married, nor are they romantically involved. So this radio host is claiming that this is a travesty because of the effect the arrangement will have on the child as she grows up.

Perhaps the girl will miss out on the subtle (but important) expressions of affection that teach her how to be gentle and affectionate later on in life. That is a valid point for which the radio broadcaster needs not to apologize.

I do think it’s ridiculous that the local politician is so self-absorbed that he can’t take a little criticism of his life choices without marshalling all of his political soldiers in a demand for a public apology. Just who does he think he is, Benito Mussolini? What right does he have to use his office to demogogue perfectly legitimate dissent that disagrees with his lifestyle? For that matter, what right does he even have to try to squash “illegitimate” views? None. He’s just a man, behaving like a little girl who — in a tantrum — is stomping the floor because she didn’t get her way.

Typical of San Francisco liberals — demand compliance in the name of open-mindedness. What’s next?

After men take centuries to turn America into a prosperous nation from hard work and innovation, we no focus on training up our a future generation of leaders in divorce and gayness is little thanks.

I expect our government will keep itself in business providing social services for the social problems that they help create.

I read an article from Baskerville about the divorce industry and other government agencies that generate business each each other. It’s a referral service that keeps its citizens dependent on the process.

    As Oriana Fallaci said:
    “Political Correctness is cowardice”

The announcer should be applauded for telling the truth.

And we are seeing this more and more – people are starting to take a stand against the lunacy.

You are free to say whatever you want in this state….as long as it’s the same as what I say.

    Pathetic.
