Aaron Klein, World Net Daily’s Jerusalem correspondent, has recently interviewed several Islamist terrorists to see if they were following the upcoming election in the US and what they thought of it. And surprise surprise, they were very interested in having the Democratic party take over Congress. See, these guys aren’t stupid. Bloodthirsty yes, but they understand quite well that the Democratic Party will hamper the war against them, and that the GOP will fight them far harder.

Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday’s midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party’s position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are “tired.”

They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.

They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance “resistance” against Israel.

“Of course Americans should vote Democrat,” Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group ( emphasis mine)and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, told WND.

Very interesting. Not only do these terrorists understand the Dems aren’t serious about fighting terrorism, but also they reject the silly argument that the Dems make about pulling out of Iraq ending the “insurgency” there. So, essentially these terrorists agree that the Democrats have no idea what they’re talking about. Of course, that’s not news to me, but if you’re one of those folks who believe otherwise, I’d start paying more attention.
