R&B Singer Gerald LeVert Silent At 40

A ladies’ favorite known as G-Bear, rhythm-and-blues singer Gerald LeVert died today at his home in Newbury, Ohio at the age of 40. Local television reports LeVert had a heart attack in his sleep.

Son of Eddie LeVert, lead singer of the group the O’Jays, Gerald was influenced by artists such as Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight.
