Anyone who does not see the Chinese as providing military threat to American naval presence in the Pacific has no understanding of the Chinese………..

    ……. nor read their history.

They are PATIENT, taking their time to achieve a semblance of modernized force for projection against our ships.

And note how they keep their facilities secret, while we stupidly invite them to ours.

The Chinese may very well stock our Walmarts, but they are arming, upgrading, and modernizing their naval power….. and it’s certainly not to fight off another invasion by Japan, either.

The Cold War ended, but one major Cold-War authoritarian regime remains to confront the U.S. militarily, and confront us they will.

    In their own time.

    On their own terms.
