These six men achieved an impossible task; they actually succeeded in <em>"proving innocence."</em> The state's obligation to prove guilt in these cases is fading. Misguided public sentiment for purported female victims is effecting the slow-but-steady decay of civil rights and due process for men. Those men who are falsely accused are being left with few options. <ol> <li>Drop out of the dating/marriage scene entirely, and live as a hermit. This choice ends in marginalization.</li> <li>Live a homosexual lifestyle. This choice ends in marginalization on several levels, and denies heterosexual men a basic human need (intimacy).</li> <li>Become extremely selective in who you choose as a mate, selecting only women of the finest character and with no sense of entitlement. This lessens the chance of disaster, but is no guarantee.</li> <li>Record abusive activity on an ongoing basis, covertly, and especially in tense or tenuous situations in which false allegations would be most likely to occur.
