If you look up the word “chutzpuh” in the dictionary, you will see a mug shot of O.J. Simpson. The former gridiron star is taking time out from the golf links, where for over a decade he has been looking for the “real” killers of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
Simpson is busy promoting his new book “If I Did It, Here’s How It Happened”. Simpson he claims it’s a ”hypothetical” account of the murders of his ex-wife and Goldman. Before he is executed for genocide I hope Saddam doesn’t pen a book entitled: “I didn’t massacre Kurds, But If I Did It, Here’s How it Happened.”
“O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes,” Fox said in a press release.
You would think that no responsible media outlet would give Simpson the time of day, but Fox is giving this murderer two nights of primetime to hawk his book. He won’t be interviewed by a hard-hitting investigative journalist, but by his book publisher. I feel like I’ve fallen into a rabbit hole, and nothing will ever make sense again.
I’m not saying when this travesty will air, because I don’t want anyone to watch it. I’m hoping that so many people will complain, that Fox executives will change their minds about broadcasting this abortion.
Why in the name of everything that is decent, holy and upright, is Fox giving this cretin a showcase to taunt the Brown and Goldman families? Hasn’t Simpson done enough damage to last several lifetimes? Not only has Simpson murdered two persons, but he divided this country along racial lines. I bet even his lawyer, Johnny Cochran, is turning over in his grave.
If this special gets high ratings, I will move to the dark side of the moon. I expect network officials not to have any humanity, but I still hold out some hope for my fellow Americans. I plead with my readers: Please do not watch this abomination!
