Fuenlabrada, a town in Spain outside Madrid, has changed the human figures displayed in road signs in the name of gender equality. All human figures in road signs are now depicted wearing skirts. “It’s all about respect,” says one supporter.

I counted the word “gender” three times alone, the word “equality” four times alone, and “gender equality” nine times, all in a little story that took one minute to read….

It’s like the visual death by a thousand cuts, as Spanish society emasculates itself.

Meanwhile, Muslims in Spain just wait…

Just a detail; by putting skirts to half of those little green mens, do we suggest that all womens in spain MUST wear skirts?

    This could be fun…

Spain had better enjoy its experiment in radical social engineering (i.e. Communism) while it lasts. Here are some interesting observations about the country from Marc Steyn’s recent bestseller “America Alone.” “At a fertility rate of 1.1, half the replacement level, Spain’s population is halving with every generation. Long before the Maldive Islands by submerged by ‘rising sea-levels,’ every Spaniard and Italian will be six feet under…Now imagine you’re Spain and you’ve got even bigger public pension liabilities and a population that’s going to be halving every 35 years. The Progressive Left can be in favor of Big Government or population control but not both. That mutual incompatibility is about to plunge Europe into societal collapse. Europe, by the end of this century, will be a continent after the neutron bomb: the grand buildings will be standing but the people who built them will be gone.” Emarel is right about the Muslims sitting there lying in wait laughing all the way to the bank. To quote again from Steyn’s book: “Europe will be semi-Islamic in its politico-cultural character within a generation…Go to any children’s store in Amsterdam or Marseilles or Vienna or Stockholm. Look at the women in headscraves or full abaya. That’s the future.” “Gender equality” i.e. “sameness” or “androgyny” killed the West.

An Englishman living in Spain (married to a Spanish woman) commented on another blog that Spain’s newspapers and television messages are mostly about how men victimizing women.

I supposed that the feminists landed in Spain.

Welcome to the new world order.

Let’s not get all chauvinistic fellas. I see nothing wrong with stick-women on traffic signs. At present its all blokes being told what to do ! I wonder if these skirts are the mini or super-mini variety and whether their panties show – or maybe there will be no panties! Sort of Britney lights. Or will they be long swirly flamenco dresses. And will the stick girls have castanets too and dance instead of walk? How about bosoms? Uplift bras or bouncing free? Whatever, I bet the women disagree on the hem lengths.

Spanish men will always feel like men so long as the matador is male. When some steriod popping woman becomes the countries greatest matador, the men will leave, if the women let them….

And, who cares if the Moslims take them over? They already rolled over and played the Moslims bitch when they abandoned the US in Iraq.

Uhm, but isn’t this sexist and stereotyping women? I mean, women don’t HAVE to wear skirts do they? Oh the irony!

Next up, the removal of said signs because they are sexist!
