		<description>At least in this state (Illinois), and many others, doctors who have the same practice all pay the same rate, regardless of experience, history of lawsuits, etc.  The most an insurance company can do is not insure a doctor. More lawsuits, more premiums, yes, but in this state premiums are not adjusted between doctors, all that matters is the specifics of the practice.</description>

		<description>Doctors do not pay the same price for liability.  The more claims made even if settled or otherwise resolved, the more the rate goes up.  That notwithstanding most of what is written in the article is valid nevertheless.  The costs of business get passed on to the customer.  Always.  There is no free money, only your money or someone elses money.</description>
