I can see how the GOP might have similar reasons as the DNC to do things that contribute to the breakdown of traditional families. In the same way that the DNC is the teachers and professors, who make their income by convincing as many women as possible, they need education, and to take on student loans of $100,000 that they will be required to work the rest of their lives to repay. The GOP is the businessmen, who make their income by convincing as many women as possible that they need careers, which will allow businesses to make more profit.

I can also see how their solutions also contribute to the problem. The DNC might like government charity to women, anything that will make the government larger, weaker, and more compassionate The GOP might want to reduce the size of government by ending welfare, mostly to replace welfare with a private sector solutions, and they tend to like a smaller government with teeth, like court mandated automatic payroll deductions for child support. All of their solutions have ended up with unintended consequences.

Add to these the pressure of the marketplace, convincing women that there is some kind of satisfaction, in buying more of everything, placing women in life long mortgages and other debts, which require her to work, the rest of her life. All of these are competing against men, for women’s time, attention, loyalty, and contribute to reducing women’s ability, to have long term relationships with men. Women have turned to things, other than traditional families, for satisfaction and fulfillment. I seriously doubt, anyone in the government or the marketplace has a clue, about what effect they are having on people, or how to solve it, and freedom is a b----.

Family values is mostly a buzz word for politicians and marketing executives.

If another values family, they ought to pass laws that are pro-family. Laws that keep families together (anti-divorce, anti-homosexuality, anti-adultery), or not murder family members (anti-abortion).

America needs a great wave to wash away the foolishness. Then many great leaders to step up to begin to rebuild from the ground up a great nation worthy of being called great. A nation with moral authority, not just goods, guns, and Britney Spears.

Amen to that,
All and everything you said it sooo true. We need a 3rd Party, We HAVE to have a 3rd Party. To many RHINOS! Too many corrupt evil people running our government under false pretenses
We need term limits on Judges, and everyone else in any Gov. office. The PEOPLE need to be the ones to decide on all these important issues that affect our lives, so let us vote on them. This great Country of ours is and has been for a while in a tailspin and heading for impact soon. Once the FAMILY has been effectively DESTROYED it will be completed. This country is based on the family and thats being eviscerated on a daily basis.

In 1996, the Republicans won control of both houses of the Washington Legislature in Olympia.
We fathers' rights activists rejoiced.
Then the Legislature sold us down the river with the license suspension provisions of the WorkFirst Act, a multi subject piece of shit.
We screamed at these GOP traitors and tried to stop them from doing this.
I for, one, sabotaged Ray Schow's re-election. He had been a good fathers' rights advocate and I worked hard to help him win election. But he turned on me when it came to the WorkFirst Act, in spite of my Legislative Hotline calls telling him that the license suspension provision was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
When he ran for re-elction after that, I went to a meeting he was holding at the Federal Way Regional Library and handed out leaflets that read:

Senator RAY SCHOW is a DOUBLE CROSSING, BACKSTABBING, VIOLATOR OF HIS OATH OF OFFICE

He accepted the votes and help of noncustodial parents to win election. We stuffed envelopes. We went doorbelling. We voted for him. He promised us that he would help restore our RIGHTS as citizens of the State of Washington and of the United States.

Then he voted to pass the bill to suspend our
DRIVER’S LICENSE
to qualify for FEDERAL FUNDS.
He sold our RIGHTS for a BAG of MONEY!!!

If failure to pay child support set at UNREASONABLE LEVELS by the OBSCENE Child Support Schedule and by judges who HATE us the way NAZIS HATE JEWS, leaving us UNABLE TO PAY RENT, is grounds for suspending LICENSES,
Then why not for PROPERTY TAXES?
NO HEARING AS TO INABILITY TO PAY, NO CLAIM OF JOB LOSS ALLOWED, YOU BETTER GET A JOB OR LOSE YOUR LICENSE!!!!

IF YOU CAN’T TRUST SCHOW ON THE 13TH AMENDMENT, HOW CAN YOU TRUST HIM ON THE SECOND?

Until our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS are FULLY restored, all noncustodial parents are voting NO on school levies and bond issues.

He did not get re-elected. The Washington GOP has even fewer seats as the Seattle suburbs turn blue and liberal. They continue to be clueless and unwilling to do what it takes to obtain the votes of several hundred thousand divorced parents just waiting for someone to speak to their interests: meaning restore the rights set forth in the Washington Constitution and the United States Constitution.
I would be happy if we could just get every noncustodial parent to vote no on every tax levy, THAT would be applying PRESSURE.

That captures my sentiments perfectly. Dave, suppose I had written this article myself. I would have ended it the same way, with a question mark, where do we go from here. I know the Rebuplicans don't get it, and to my horror it looks like the Democrats may put up Hillary for the win!
