I totally agree!

But she wants to be pissed off intellectually.

So, women’s studies is a dim proposition.

Sadly, my kid has already read “Who Killed Feminism,” “Female Chauvinist Pigs,” “The War Against Boys,” and way too much Freud and Jung.

So, she’s been innoculated against the deadly virus of feminism.

She’s considering Philosophy.

That’s where all the lethal tools can be found.

My first thought upon reading the accusatory term “mobs” was to recall that this was a favorite term that the British used to demean revolutionary American patriots during our War of Independence. (I believe they also called my great-great grandfather an “insurgent.”)

Since I have a child enrolled in a top university journalism school, I get regular updates about the sorry state of journalistic integrity.

My daughter recently told me a hilarious story about how, in the 100-student freshmen lecture classes, the budding journalists seem to love nothing more than “air time” at the lecture hallâ€™s microphones — just like a TV Town Meeting where folks cue up to lob earnest questions at the experts on the stage.

One aspiring Dan Rather type actually stepped up to the mic during Week #1 of “History and Theory of American Journalism” and asked this penetrating question â€“

“Umm, Professor Jones… Do you um think that, like, the Internet will like, um, change journalism?”

Also according to my kidâ€™s field reports, all of the sorority-girl journalists want to be broadcast news bunnies. They apparently prefer to merely smirk coyly and read words that unattractive print geeks have written for their benefit and six-figure starting salaries.

My child is already thinking about changing her major after only one semester.

She wants to know how she can get a degree in Being Pissed Off…
