Fathers4Justice activists took to the freeways this week in Boston, Massachusetts, stopping traffic for miles and attracting media coverage and public support. Bob Morton and George Mason (Mr. I) at the MA Pike I90, Paul McKay (Batman) and Wayne Jewett at I95, and Steve McDonough (Santa) and Randy Mills (Spiderman) at I93 went to great heights to remind us that millions of parents are missing their children this Christmas. Witnesses said, “Big thumbs up Were given by Boston Police, Boston Fire Dept, Ambulances, State Police, Sheriffs, DPW, 18-Wheelers and the Public at large.”

Canada’s Annual March For Family Justice

From Rob Robinson aka Burnaby Batman:

This year’s annual march for family justice began on the north shore in North Vancouver BC, just minutes away from the Lions Gate Bridge that crosses over into Vancouver and Stanley Park, at 10 am sharp. There were about 9 marchers in total. There 6 km trek lead them over the Lions Gate Bridge in Santa suits, carrying a Christmas tree with them. Global news and Ctv news greeted the marchers as they came over the bridge and there was a short clip aired later in the day at 6 pm on Global news of the event. The Chinese news paper in Vancouver was also in attendance and got lots of photographs.

The Marchers trekked their way through downtown Vancouver to the Supreme court where they were met by the Grinch Bat, Hulk Santa and several other supporters totalling 15 in all. All in all the weather was wet and cold, but spirits high and as such another successful mission in the fight for families and Justice. The group dispersed under the watchful eyes of authorities at 12:30 pm.

From Brian Lovett at Love Is Earned: [4]

For many, the holiday season is a fun and festive time. Kids take breaks from school, parents take breaks from work, and many come together to just be together.

For many, many others, holiday season is the worst time of the year because they are reminded of their loneliness. This is true especially for almost all divorced fathers. …most fathers aren’t allowed to spend much, if any, time with their children… There’s nothing these fathers want more during the holiday season, or any other time of year for that matter, than to be with their children.

I’ve met and talked with many good divorced fathers who are only allowed to spend a few days each month with their children…these fathers are hurting like most could never imagine in their worst nightmares. They are hardly allowed to see their most precious possessions in the world – their children… their emotional and physical selves are in shambles.
