“The victim in this case displayed tremendous courage, like many victims, in giving information,” said chief prosecutor Diana May. “However, when the case is reviewed in its entirety, we cannot prove the elements beyond a reasonable doubt.”
What victim? Where is the ‘alleged’ that lawyers use? Why is it ‘displayed tremendous courage’ and not ‘displayed manipulative false accusation’ ? Either would be just as bad and unproven as the other. Why is it so difficult to say, ‘we don’t have any proof that a crime occured’. Just what part of ‘I don’t know’ does this prosecutor not understand?
I wonder if Mike Nifong will say Chrystal Magnum ‘displayed tremendous courage like many victims, in giving information’, as his last words on that matter.

These comments imply the accused is guilty, but the prosecution just can’t prove it.
Such comments are unethical if not criminal. If the government cannot prove its case against the accused, the prosecutor should drop the case without comment. Put up or shut up.
Brakey is either courageous or a liar. Those two terms are hardly interchangeable. What this case demonstrates is that a man accused of rape is guilty of rape, even when’s there no proof nor conviction.

Yes, a man is guilty even if it not proven thus. So what is news here? There is only one answer…..stop making babies with women. Let the human race die out and then good old mother nature can take whatever course that is next and produce some other form of “intelligent” life. Or not! Does anyone out there seriously believe women as a group, not individually, will ever again do anything any where for any reason at any time that does not benefit them?

“Whaaaaaaa the DI was yelling at me! He hurt my feelings! Whaaaaaaaaa!”
“It’s ok, we’ll get ‘em…. we can just accuse them of sexual harrassment…” “Who is gonna challenge it?” “It’s reputational suicide to challenge!”
“WHOOT! How much ya think I can get?”
